128 Day Challenge
Now that all of the wedding-related stress is gone and the honeymoon is over, I’m starting a “128 Day Challenge” as a way to give myself some accountability for the rest of the year. This isn’t meant to be a challenge for other people to do with me since my goals are very personalized, but you could always make something similar for yourself!
I’ll make weekly posts on Sundays to track my progress toward the following goals:
Food🍴
I want to keep working on eating less meat and other animal products. My goal is to eat:
Vegetarian for 100/128 days🥗
Plant-based for 70/128 days🌱
Intermittent Fasting 🕑
The husband wants to do daily IF as a way to prevent mindless eating and to create some structure for his meals, so I’m doing it with him and aiming to fast for 16 hours at a time like I did (successfully) back in college.
My goal is to complete a 16 hour fast 100 times within the next 128 days.
Alcohol🍸🍷
When I drink excessively, I’m more likely to eat a bunch of crap that I don’t actually want or need. Limiting the number of drinks I have at once will help me prevent that from happening.
Between now and January 1st, I’m going to give myself 25 individual drinks to use whenever I want🍻🍾🥂
Exercise🏃🏻♀️
I need to stay active!
Between now and January 1st, I want to complete 75 purposeful workouts, excluding the normal walking I do at work during my lunch break.

Affirmations for Weight Loss
Half the battle is in the mind, so repeat after me until these phrases sink into your psyche…
“I have learned how to keep myself from overeating”
“I don’t binge anymore”
“I am reaching my ideal weight”
“I lose weight more quickly because I eat slower”
“I do not eat out of anxiety or depression”
“Food provides me energy, nothing more”
“My body is becoming more efficient”
“I choose to eat nutritious food and avoid unhealthy foods”
“Weight loss has become effortless for me” (FAVE)
I like to say these before bed, or during yoga/meditation. Try it. I lost 9lb this week.

it’s okay sweetie. you may have done badly today but you can always do better tomorrow. everything happens for a reason - if you binged, it’s to help your metabolism boost. think about the cloud’s silver lining. you won’t gain anything. you would have had to eat over 5000 calories before gaining 1 point. you can do this. just keep pushing through. i believe in you. we all believe in you. the world is on your side and you can keep this up. you will reach your goal weight. you will succeed. but remember to stay safe xoxo
