Ayah and Hadiths on the Justice of Allah
I prepared a collection of ayah from the Quran and selections from the Hadith concerning Allah's (subhana wa-ta'la) justice to send to a friend and I thought I would share it here as well.
Quran:
Surah 2:284 - To Allah alone belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Whether you reveal what is in your hearts or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. He forgives whoever He wills, and punishes whoever He wills. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.
Surah 3:18-19 - Allah Himself is a Witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Him—and so are the angels and people of knowledge. He is the Maintainer of justice. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise. Certainly, Allah’s only Way is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture did not dispute among themselves out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them. Whoever denies Allah’s signs, then surely Allah is swift in reckoning.
Surah 3:21-22 - Indeed, those who deny Allah’s signs, kill the prophets unjustly, and kill people who stand up for justice—give them good news of a painful punishment. They are the ones whose deeds are wasted in this world and the Hereafter. And they will have no helpers.
Surah 6:114-115 - Say, O Prophet, “Should I seek a judge other than Allah while He is the One Who has revealed for you the Book ˹with the truth perfectly explained?” Those who were given the Scripture know that it has been revealed to you from your Lord in truth. So do not be one of those who doubt. The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Surah 10:54 - If every wrongdoer were to possess everything in the world, they would surely ransom themselves with it. They will hide their remorse when they see the torment. And they will be judged in all fairness, and none will be wronged.
Surah 11:56 - I have put my trust in Allah—my Lord and your Lord. There is no living creature that is not completely under His control. Surely my Lord’s Way is perfect justice.
Surah 21:47 - We set up the scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so no soul will be wronged in the least. And even if a deed is the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as a vigilant Reckoner.
Surah 39:46-48 - Say, O Prophet, “O Allah—Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the seen and unseen! You will judge between Your servants regarding their differences.” Even if the wrongdoers were to possess everything in the world twice over, they would certainly offer it to ransom themselves from the horrible punishment on Judgment Day, for they will see from Allah what they had never expected. And the evil consequences of their deeds will unfold before them, and they will be overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule.
Surah 10:9-10 - Surely those who believe and do good, their Lord will guide them to Paradise through their faith, rivers will flow under their feet in the Gardens of Bliss, in which their prayer will be, “Glory be to You, O Allah!” and their greeting will be, “Peace!” and their closing prayer will be, “All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds!”
Hadith:
Sahih Bukhari 7411 - Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Allah's Hand is full, and (its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending, day and night." He also said, "Do you see what He has spent since He created the Heavens and the Earth? Yet all that has not decreased what is in His Hand." He also said, "His Throne is over the water, and in His other Hand is the balance (of Justice) and He raises and lowers (whomever He will).
Sahih Muslim 2787 - Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (saws) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will take in His grip the Earth on the Day of Judgment and He would roll up the sky in His right hand and would say: I am the Lord; where are the sovereigns of the world?
Sahih al-Bukhari 4564 - Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The last statement of Abraham when he was thrown into the fire was: --"Allah is Sufficient for us and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs for us)." (3.173)
Sahih al-Bukhari 7518 - Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet (saws) said, "Allah will say to the people of Paradise, "O the people of Paradise!" They will say, 'Labbaik, O our Lord, and Sa`daik, and all the good is in Your Hands!' Allah will say, "Are you satisfied?' They will say, 'Why shouldn't we be satisfied, O our Lord as You have given us what You have not given to any of Your created beings?' He will say, 'Shall I not give you something better than that?' They will say, 'O our Lord! What else could be better than that?' He will say, 'I bestow My Pleasure on you and will never be angry with you after that.' "
Sahih Muslim 181a - Suhaib reported the Apostle (saws) saying: When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say: Hast Thou not brightened our faces? Hast Thou not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? He (the narrator) said: He (God) would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would he dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious.

🌊 Gospel of Mark 4:35,39
