I imagine Lavellan going through the whole Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts quest after Solas says some shit like,

“You will have to behave yourself until the end of the night.” With an artist’s delicate strokes, he painted her lips red and finished with the gold paint to bring the line of her vallaslin on her lip back into view. “If you can manage this, you may paint me with your kisses.”

And while the advisors are all like "blah blah The Game blah blah find blackmail, blah blah Orlesian things blah assassination" etc etc thinking it's having impact on what she's doing when what's actually motivating her is...

The opportunity to put her mouth along every inch of this man’s body and leave smears of red and gold in her wake is what had kept her going throughout it all.

I'm so fucking excited. Naruto is my first fandom in my life, Narusasu is my first pairing. And now, after nineteen years, I finally drew art with my favorite boys.

i think what makes drawing solas so tricky and interesting to me is that his face changes quite a bit between dai and datv, but none of the changes by themselves are very drastic. all together, though, they kind of add up to a whole different face, but their individual subtlety is what keeps him simultaneously recognizable (imo).

some ref screenshots below for context, but i’m talking about things like his skull shape, how the parietal bone is a little longer in datv. or how his brow and jaw are more pronounced, cheekbones are a little higher and closer to the eye. nostrils are angled upwards at the front, philtrum is shorter, neck is thicker, etc. even his ear shape changes.

and none of those things are necessarily easy to pinpoint at first glance, but it’s so interesting to see how artist perceptions/ interpretations of his features (my own included) have shifted over time with those slight changes in mind.

It is so much more brutal than I first expected. The magic is sooo interesting, the Hungarian names and sounds give it such a good atmosphere, same with the audiobook narrator’s voice. Oh, there’s pain. There’s sacrifice. There’s crude and raw reality gushing at your skin.

So in the last I dunno 24 hours or less, Henry

Had to get a job as a waiter

Was forced to pour wine for annoying nobles including the mint master prick

Dealt with the absolute emotional rollercoaster of being so near to Sigismund and Markvart but unable to act

Listened helplessly as they discussed plans to kill Henry's friends and allies

Had a drink with Sigismund??

Rode like a bat out of hell to warn his friends in time, possibly stole a horse (I don't think that was Pebbles?)

Got there slightly too late, probably felt guilty, killed some guys

Saw Erik which has to fuck with his head a little too

Learned that Godwin has a brother

Learned that Henry also has a brother too kinda?? Living family??? Holy shit wow

Hauled ass back to Kuttenberg to defend the Jews against Sigismund's attack

Worried his newfound brother might die (he surely would've if Erik knew)

Again killed several guys

Can't save everyone and feels more guilty I'm sure

The game doesn't let me but my Henry is a bit of a sawbones at this point so there's no way he didn't spend all morning treating the wounded

Grappled with the emotional weight of learning that his adoptive father had a bio son he never knew about and now never will

Like dear God can this boy please get a fucking break. No I will not go straight to Žižka for next steps; Henry needs a damn rest.
