Modern Sherlock Holmes is cool for like a au or fanfic but it not really in my taste to listen or watch anything that adapted Holmes in a modern setting unless it Sherlock Holmes in the 22 century only because show literally bring Sherlock Holmes from the dead and it just very fun to watch them put a long dead victorian on the moon.

Skyline should absolutely have characters who are airport ground vehicles.
Source: Was on a plane trip yesterday.
Just imagine, a chaotic little baggage tug (or multiple) and a footy French catering truck…
Oh shit you right . Here Bolster the Baggage tug introduce in the season 1 episode: Baggage where he encourage Tiny tom to prank Blueline when she was still mean to him however it end up going of the rails in the end and Tiny tom, Bolster and Blueline both learn a lesson. Outside of his pranking streak Bolster is pretty much the one that know all the rumors about the airport and the adventure outside it which why he did along with Sandy pretty well and would often be at his side to explore together in the ground talking about stories and myths. He is a very minor character only appearing in a handful of episodes that only really focus him a few times yet he does like most of the planes except for Blueline at first until she grew up to be a better person and doesn't appreciate Syndicate and Barrel Roll trying shut down the airport and would spy on them to make they aren't plotting anything

Weather the third class Passagers were prioritize or not in the end they were still screwed since they were in large English ship that was a labyrinth of halls where the majority of them couldn't speak English even if they did get to the Lifeboat there was chance the Lifeboats would capsize since lifeboat back they weren't 100 percent safe and were much more of death trap and is a risk not to mention they are on ship where the having enough lifeboat wasn't standard Even if all the lifeboat were full not everyone is going make out alive the Titanic is the one that wrote the rule in blood. It is such a tragedy for the ship herself was soild she just happened to hit the worst place when the run into the iceberg even if she did hit in the front that still risk people lives

Ronald Howard & Howard Marion-Crawford as Sherlock Holmes & Doctor Watson in Sherlock Holmes (1954).
“Perfect, Mr Holmes and you and Dr Watson make perfect burglary suspects. When I report your death to the police, they can’t possibly blame me for protecting the sanctity of my home.”
“Well done, Watson!“
“I could’ve done a bit better, but it was me bad shoulder.“
“Quite alright, Watson. Think no more about it.”

Honestly, it is extremely sad that the Titanic disaster has so much nuance behind it and is the most well-documented disaster with two different inquiries, yet she ended up still being sensationalized and when she was tending on tumblr was because of a sub not because people were genuine interested in her

I’d like to hear Ocean Liner shouting at the other forms of transportation for their Titanic misconceptions.
Car: wow i can't believe the tintinc crew lock the passenger in there so selfish
Ocean Liner:..that didn't fucking happen cars. The gates were for blocking areas people aren't supposed to go in.
Car: oh well I still Ismay fault for-*get shoot in the head "
Ocean liner: *reloading gun* William randolph hearst, You are fucking next you bitch

It was cocky and overconfident to call the Titanic "unsinkable" but one thing that's overlooked is that she was genuinely really, unusually solid. She could float even with 4 compartments fully flooded, which even a lot of modern day ships can't do.
And it's not like they were wrong about her being solid! Olympic, her identical sister ship, survived being torpedoed and then running over the U-Boat that fired that torpedo. Those ships were solid.
It's very clear that absolutely no other ship in 1912 would have been able to survive that collision, and it's a testament to the quality of the ship that she didn't sink in a few minutes Empress of Ireland style. Part of what makes the Titanic such a tragic story is that it isn't a group of rich idiots locking themselves in a shoddy iron barrel to go 4km underwater. It was 2200 people, most of whom were poor immigrants, on a reliable ship on a commonly-made journey, and then something went horribly, unpredictably wrong.

Literally almost every misconception about the Titanic started because of Hearst having beef with Ismay and the story of a arrogant crowdy business man is something that both people at the time and the modern audience would eat up aka would expect especially with the glorying of dying as hero instead of death being seen as a tragedy

The thing that reminded me of Diesel Hatt deserves an ask in its own right- Enid Blyton’s short story “The Boy who Turned Into an Engine”.
… which has something unbelievable about it that I want you to discover for yourself. 😉
Maybe later

Shamelessly responding to a three-year-old post: I need more detail on the AU where Sir Toppham Hatt spontaneously transforms into a diesel.
Oh shit I completely forgot about that.. I think It be funny if none of the humans believed that he's the Sir Topham and just think he's a new engine and tell him to go back to work. It a bit of karma for all the times he didn't believe his engines or dismissed them and now he on the other side of the coin. If this was a real episode in the show it probably be a dream but it would still be very funny to see engines needing guide Sir Topham hat
