Shamelessly responding to a three-year-old post: I need more detail on the AU where Sir Toppham Hatt spontaneously transforms into a diesel.

Oh shit I completely forgot about that.. I think It be funny if none of the humans believed that he's the Sir Topham and just think he's a new engine and tell him to go back to work. It a bit of karma for all the times he didn't believe his engines or dismissed them and now he on the other side of the coin. Fun Fact my first expose to Sherlock Holmes wasn't from the great mouse detective but from that one Tom and Jerry movie and even with the geat mouse detective for the longest time I didn't know what professor moriarty actually looked like so my perception of him was always this mf for longest time since I never really have any of the books or watch any of the show/ movies:

Things that I noticed in the original natm museum trilogy that I didn't notice or know as a kid and completely forgot was in the flim

The first film

1: I completely forgot how Larry jumped into the ice rank to help Nicky up and most of the beginning of the film on general

2: I completely forget that there was a cooper Columbus status speaks fuiant Spanish in the flim and Larry seems to somewhat understand him. Also Columbus was the one to point out that that one of the neanderthal escaped (rip bro got turned into dust) and help caught the security guard/bandits

3: I realized even Lewis and Clark was more focused on their map than what is going on around them I am pretty that they would have noticed Teddy looking over at Sacajawea presumably for years and Larry breaking the glass and be like:

4: there could easily be a prequel exploring the first night the exabits came to life

The second Film:

1: How the heck did Jeb get Larry phone number

2: Fun Fact: I didn't know that General Custer was a civil war general when I first watched as a kid and for some reason the longest time I thought he was this random cowboy which is pretty funny since there are nearby civil war museums from where I'm from

3: I didn't know that the tuskegee airmen were from war 2 as a kid

4: when Larry entered the archives. The Smithsonian night guards are never seen again in the film making me wonder if they were all somehow just on the under levels for the whole time just unaware of what was going on

5: that not every exhibit or the other part of the Museum the Smithsonian was shown as which makes sense since there no war anybody could make movie showing the whole Smithsonian but it pretty funny to imagine the other part of the Smithsonian being completely unaware that there's a war going on

The Third Flim:

1: Every female in this franchise gets paired with a male interest except For Joan of Arc from the animated flam

2: this a general question: How large is the tablet's radius when it is not on Museum grounds since it shown that it can effected none Museum objects

3: The Tablet could defiantly bring a graveyard and extinct animals to life since it shows that it can affect the dead and bones

4: for some reason, I misremembered the infamous kiss scene on the roof instead of the natural museum

5: There isn't a single Revolutionary War figure in these movies that affects the plot. (i don't think there is any Revolutionary War characters in the background in any of these movies but i could be wrong)

6: What would a natm! Odysseus be like since the British Museum does have a statue of Odysseus's head which i found out on the Museum website

What was Newsletter up to during the movie? Reporting on the race?

She has a side rivalry with a Bell 206 JetRanger called Redline trying to out commentated each other but poor Newsletter is just a KTLA Telecopter going against a more modern helicopter since at this point in the series the 1950's has past and skyline plane are now in the 1960's

Night of the museum literally has three movies and one animated movie yet not once has there been interaction with a Titanic exhibit or a movie that takes place in a museum that is specifically for Wax figures like the Hollywood Wax museum which think might be a fun setting
