We all know how Watson always describes Lestrade as short and ferret-like but I am noticing he also often describes him as "dapper" or well-dressed. Sometimes he even takes the time to describe his clothing in detail.

Watson basically writes "inspector Lestrade who is tiny and looks like a ferret but like. A really elegant ferret."

I want a Sherlock Holmes adaptation where inspector Lestrade and inspector Gregson suspect that Holmes is queer and in a relationship with Watson, and they make an entire side-investigation to find out while the 4 of them work together and we get to see their rivarly more.

I want to see them both surprised and confused once they find out that they are, indeed, a couple. I want to see the conflict in their eyes with this new knowledge.

And I want to see them promising to each other that they will never, ever, reveal this secret under any circumstance. To anyone. They would cover it up if anybody else suspected a thing.
