So I have a good deal of questions bcuz I wanna draw V.gate and decoy lol

So one of my questions in general is Decoys personality, we've gotten a decent bit of implications with how they interact with V.gate, but how would they interact with people who AREN'T V.gate?

Also I was wondering how old/tall Decoy is supposed to be. Child is meant to be around 7 and is pretty short, so would Decoy be shorter or taller?how would Decoy interact with Child?

Decoy was said to be non verbal, is there a reason for this? And how does it affect Decoy's relationships with others? What other ways do they communicate?

Decoy is very cautious. They are used to observing their surroundings and making choices on their best bet of survival. Part of them is constantly on survival mode.

As I’ve mentioned before Enas are made by combining human and creatures that kinda came to earth outa nowhere. Constantly fighting for control. However, Decoy is a little different. Possibly from her being a young child or the creatures core not being as strong as others their body tends to be in sync for the most part.

However, Decoy can show aggression in overstimulating situations, survival mode. While other times a trigger can cause her to shut down for a little while. She usually clings onto V.Gate in moments like this. She also has a bit of abandonment trauma too.

These moments have gotten rarer the longer she lives with V.Gate. She’s more comfortable around others and she’ll open up eventually if your around long enough.

She’s actually very expressive. Depending on how close they are to you they’ll use different methods of communication. Her most common ones being hand gestures and drawings. But if you happen to become good friends or possibly besties she’ll make a new language just for the two of you to understand.

She also loves giving gifts to those she trusts. She’ll hand out little snacks or drawings she makes and excitedly wait for your reaction.

She all tends to have an intense gaze. Depending on who you are to her she will forever stare hard core into your soul.

She’s also very expressive in her emotions. And she can wear them on her sleeve a lot of the time. It’s easy to cheer her up. And she loves physical contact (such as hugs holding hands,pats, ect…)

Now for the more darker stuff. The reason Decoy is non-verbal is due to her “purpose” that she was made for. She was actually an illegal experiment. Which is why V.Gate and Decoy even crossed paths.

Decoy was ment to serve well- as a decoy. She was ment to gather intel on other projects and bases. They thought it would be easier to cover stuff up if she was kept quiet.

The only time she can use her voice is if she uses her ability (which I’m still working on but I want it to be voice related).

Alrighty! How would Decoy and Child interact? Well, at first Decoy would keep their distance. Observing until she felt comfortable enough to hang around child. Due to Child’s chill nature I don’t think it would take long.

I think they would be pretty close friends. With them even having their own little language together. Decoy would always bring snacks to share. And would be very energetic around Child! They would totally cause chaos together but somehow always get out of the situation consequence free for the most part!

Decoy is a bit older by a year (eight years old) however she’s only a few inches taller than Child. She’s quite tiny herself.
