Doesn’t allow the impossible standards of others get to her considering she’s a generals daughter, and captains sister followed by her illness

She was trained to basically be a librarian so she’s smart and super relatable when she chants facts to distract herself to keep calm because my adhd ass sings whatever songs come to my mind to help me but she’s forced to become a rider/fighter

Continuously pushes herself to the breaking point to get better whether it’s on her own or being trained and tutored

Struggles with mental health, guilt and grief, trust in a relationship and trying to be a good friend while simultaneously trying to protect everyone she loves

Survives further than anyone would of bet

Odds stacked against her constantly

Creative problem solving

The sex scenes are well written and I wish what happens to her when she finishes happened to me (signet trying not to add spoilers)

The plot twists in both books amazing

The cliff hanger in the end of both books amazing and didn’t see either coming honestly

I hate dain

I cried about the characters Liam and violets mom

The dragons are synced to their mind and see and hear everything they do while adding their own snarky commentary and often bickering with their bonded choices it’s hilarious and realistic if you were bond to someone or something for the rest of your life

The frat guy humor in this considering they are college student ages is funny and not overdone

I think the characters are poorly described examples “her boobs were big on her small frame cartoonish almost(think porn)” “her lips were plump like labi” gave me the ick googled your name to make sure you were in fact a woman

I got whiplash from the different pov in the book Libby Ben Patty Ben Libby Ben Patty

The details spread out by the time I got to the end I forgot about the other cases being worked by the kill club but at the same time it was predictable and not subtle patty meets a mystery man sleeps worryfree for the first time ever with everything going on?? and when getting murdered thinks wow I want to live for once

Ending seemed rushed like well this is how I want it to end so tada

Set up of the murder scene and weapon effortlessly in everyday life was perfection though
