It was done. Everything was done. Finally. Silena sat in the puddle of what looked like a mix of rainwater, blood and dirt, but she didn't care. She was tired. They all have been fighting for so long, and they finally... Won.
Silena sat there for what felt like only a few minutes, but when she refocused at the people and bodies that surrounded her, she noticed how dark it had already become.
A small light came from a group at the far end of the field. She assumed it was Lucian, Adriana and some of the other rebels. She couldn't know for sure, but she knew at least Lucian was there.
Her gaze moved from the group to the other people surrounding her. Most were walking and checking the bodies that laid motionless, assessing how many we lost and how many were enemies. She didn't want to know who died, she didn't know who survived.
She felt numb. It had been 3 years of this, she grew out of the end of her teenage years in a war. Albeit a small one, only involving a few forces against Arya's corrupt branch of the government. Silena lost so much, she was forced to keep so many things a secret from those she cared about.
Her hands came up and ran through her matted curly mess of hair. She knew she had to help, she couldn't sit here rotting in the puddle of... Liquid she sat herself in.
She moved like a zombie, walking towards the nearest person. It was Edi, not surprising Silena at all. She knew he would be one of the ones checking bodies if he survived. He was the one person who could bring one of them from the brink of death... If he got there in time.
He offered her a weak smile, but Silena could only nod towards him. She glanced at the pile of bodies that laid in front of them before returning her gaze on the golden boy. When he gestured towards the pile she immediately understood what he meant, moving to help him move the bodies so they all could rest normally.
They had moved 3 off before Silena couldn't take the smell anymore, holding up a hand and moving to the side. Edi let out what sounded like a soft, barely there chuckle. It was more like a huff of breath if anything.
Silena held a hand over her mouth, willing the bile to go back down her throat. But hearing the bodies being shifted made it difficult for her. After a few moments she heard a sharp intake of breath. This made Silena freeze, terrified of who she would see if she turned around.
"Lena..." Edi's voice mumbled and Silena could already feel the tears forming, the hand at her side clenching at nothing as the other moved from her mouth to her heart. She breathed in a few times, trying to regulate her breathing before turning around.
Silena isn't sure who she expected, honestly. The fact that she didn't know who it could've been that was close to her, it could've been anyone. Anyone she associated with, and Edi would've called her the same way.
But she didn't expect to see her baby brother's lifeless form being the one that was at the bottom of the horrid pile of bodies. The one who was forced to see the dead almost all his life had joined the ones he held close. She felt tears form in her eyes, dropping to her knees as she stared at his face.
She had been forced to miss so much of his life, forced away from him due to the horrible foster care system. Forced for him to live his life thinking she chose to be away from him. Forced to watch as he betrayed her and her friends by siding with Arya. And finally, forced with the realization that she wasn't even here to protect him when he needed it most.
A choked sob left her mouth, her trembling hand moving to cup his cheek. She found herself in a state of shock, unsure of what to do. Her hands kept reaching for him, shaking his shoulder, caressing his hair, smoothing his shirt down... But he never reacted, his eyes held nothing anymore, no personality, no shine... No life.
Silena didn't realize how pathetic she looked, mumbling repeated phrases, "Reggie, my baby.." "It's okay... You're okay..." "I'm sorry... I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry..." "Couldn't protect you..." Every word she couldn't find herself to say to his face was spilling out, "I love you..."
She held his body for god knows how long, mumbling words and phrases that soon blurred together into incoherent muttering that most likely looked insane to others. But she couldn't move, couldn't stop, couldn't breathe.
Oh... She couldn't breathe. Silena barely even noticed how her breaths became rapid, and her chest constricted with every choked breath she tried to make. Her hands were shaking, gently pushing back the curly hair that covered Reggie's eyes.
Silena felt a hand on her shoulder, but she didn't move. She did feel how she started to feel a bit calmer, it definitely didn't take everything away, but at least she could breathe somewhat normally again.
Silena started to hum softly, a soft tune that she remembered from when it was just her and Reggie. When she was 5 and he was 3, before she was taken away from him. It was a tune she always used to calm down his nightmares he always had.
Now here she sat, 15 years later, freshly turned 20 and he couldn't even make it to adulthood. Now the tune was to comfort her through the loss of her brother, the one person she wished she could have kept close to her all her life. The one person she genuinely wanted, hell, she had promised to go back to after all this had ended.
Now she couldn't. And all she had was this stupid song.

Prompt: Silena's introduction :)
Warnings: None
Characters: My ocs

“Sir…” One of the soldier’s spoke up, glancing at the man for a second. From where I was standing it looked like he was holding a phone, “It’s Ms. Arya.”
Hart seemed pissed about being interrupted but took the device from the Soldier, “Ma’am?” I relished in the way that Hart’s face fell at the words this Arya lady must’ve said, I could barely fight off the shit eating grin that was threatening to peek through my otherwise neutral expression. “Alright, if you’re sure.”
Hart handed the device back and fixed me with a harsh glare, “You’re lucky Poltern, seems we’ve made too much of a ruckus around here. Don’t get used to it, next time will be different.”
"Sir, yes sir." I said, giving him a mock salute, enjoying the glare he sent my way. I finally let the grin poke through as I watched him hold up his hand signaling the group to leave.
It took me a second to realize at the time. But they left us, in the middle of some person’s backyard, with no idea what state we were even in. How convenient. It’s fine, I was fine with being stranded after Hart had taken our only means of transportation, not upset or anything.
It seemed I was the only one who thought that way, judging by Emil’s next words at least, “That dickwad! He stole my fucking van, dude!” He groaned, rubbing his face in annoyance.
“I would say sue, but somehow I feel like the case would be dropped before we even went to court.” Andy grumbled, looking around at our surroundings.
“Unfortunately, that’s the least of our problems. Any idea of where the hell we are?” I asked, trying to see if there were any type of landmarks around us.
“From the way the land looks, I wouldn’t say we’re too far from home. My guess is Oregon or southern Washington.” Andy guessed, “We might be in upper Oreg-” He cut himself off, eyes widening and jaw clenching shut. It looked like he was staring at something behind me.
I glanced over my shoulder to see a girl with bright orange hair, she was looking at us like we were insane. I felt my eyes widen a bit as I fully turned towards her, “Oh, um. Sorry, are we trespassing?”
The girl looked me up and down and I tried to not show how I felt uncomfortable under her scrutinizing glare, “Technically.”
Andy was quick to jump in, holding his hands together as he bowed his head slightly, “We are so so sorry, dude. We were just leaving-” Before he could go into a full on apology, Emil cut him off.
“Wait.” He said, looking at the newcomer up and down with a harsh glare, “Did you see anything?”
The girl raised an eyebrow, a slight grin playing at her lips, “I heard y’all before I saw you. But if you mean seeing wannabe Dr. Strange throwing around my Ma’s gardening tools, then yeah. Suppose I did see something.”
I felt my face heat up as I moved to scratch my neck and avoided eye contact with the girl. But before I could defend myself, Astra was quick to give her a soft smile, “We promise we’re not evil or anything, they brought us here and we didn’t know what else to do-”
“Hold it princess, I’m not gonna call the cops on y’all. I knew you’d be here eventually, just sooner than I expected.” The girl finally let her grin show, cocking her head to the side a bit.
But her response only confused me, and I’m sure it was obvious, “...Wait, huh?”
“I knew y’all would be here.” She repeated, chuckling a bit at the dumbfounded look that was no doubt on my face at the moment.
“I apologize, could you expand on that?” Andy asked, seeming just as confused as me, which is understandable given the fact that this girl was spouting stuff that made 0 sense.
The redhead huffed a bit, annoyance poking through her seeming nonchalant speech, “Ya need a four-point essay or something? I knew y’all would be here, I don’t know you, y’all don’t know me, I’m not calling the cops, I’m not freaking out about Mr. Poltergeist.” While I didn’t quite enjoy being compared to a troublemaker spirit, I couldn’t help but feel a bit of excitement show on my face.
“Wait, do you mean you have powers?” She nodded, seeming relieved she wouldn’t have to explain more.
“What, are you psychic or something?” Emil asked, still a bit on edge about the girl.
“Something like that.”

Prompt: Tiktok audio - 'I'm not a violent dog, I don't know why I bite.'
Warnings: It's sad :(
Characters: My ocs :)
-
Silence filled the room, an uncomfortable tension clear in the air as Emil glared at Wil. For once since we'd met him, Wil was at a loss for words, either still processesing what Emil said or completely in shock that he'd even ask that in the first place.
"I'm... I'm sorry could you repeat that?" Wil said, a small and hesitant version of his usual playful and carefree grin appearing on his face. But it was easy to tell it wasn't genuine due to the confused and hurt look in his eyes and the hesitancy that filled his posture.
"Why are you so horrible?" Emil repeated, but he had more to say this time, crossing his arms as he continued to speak. "You're like a nat, showing up at the worst times just to annoy us and mess with things we don't want you to."
Wil was silent once again, shifting in place as he stared at Emil. Or, more like stared through Emil, seeming lost in his thoughts. He turned his attention to his hands, messing with the rings that decorated his fingers as he continued to figure out what was going on in his mind.
After a few uncomfortable moments Wil finally seemed to come up with a response, "I'm not a bad kid." He said, voice quiet and unsure, "I don't know why I do this."
You could see the exact moment that Emil remembered that Wil was still a kid, the moment he remembered that he was just another kid who got unfairly used by Arya. An orphan who didn't know anything but the chaos his power forced him to know and live with. But before Emil could get another word out, Wil had disappeared into the shadows once again.
"Fuck!" Emil yelled, turning around aggressively and punching the wall as the anger coursed through his body. This was the moment he knew that he'd stop Arya if that was the last thing he'd do.

Prompt: Tiktok audio - 'I'd quite like to go home now'
Warnings: Blood, death
Characters: My ocs :)
-
"I'd... Really like to go home now." She mumbled, tears running down her face as she gently cradled his body in her arms. She couldn't fathom the fact that the life could leave his body that fast, Silena had no time to even remotely try to save him. "I want to go home..."
"Lena..." Reggie replied, sympathy filling his voice as he placed a hand on her shoulder, making Silena tense up due to the foreign feeling. He never comforted her, in a way this was all his fault. "What's done is done, I'll take you home."
"NO!" Silena choked out, looking up at her brother with a tear-stained face. Her shaky hand gently cupped the love of her life's bloodied cheek, moving his head so she could admire his features even if they were dulled due to his passing. "My home is dead. I killed him by my own hand."
Reggie was silent, looking down at Silena with an expression that screamed pity. But she didn't want his pity, she hated pity. Loathed it with every fiber in her being. But Reggie wouldn't understand that, no one would. Only Nick ever did. "You don't understand Reggie... Nothing is home if Nick isn't here..."
