only bodyshaming “bad” people doesn’t work. because then the people who are the “good” ones know you think their facial features are ugly. and you’re just not saying so because you can hold them up to some moral standard that at any second could be broken once they do something “bad” enough. conditional body positivity doesn’t work.

TI-84 Spirograph Directions (With Pictures!)
I’m not sure if this will work on any other Texas Instrument Calculators, but go ahead and try if you like.
First, go onto the mode screen and change Func to Par. Remember to press enter, or nothing will happen.
Tumblr media
Exit the screen and go to Y=. Enter the equations (the italicized characters) exactly like this:
\X1T=17cos(T)-7cos((17/7)T)
Y1T=17sin(T)-7sin((17/7)T)
Tumblr media
Go to Window and set Tmax to 14pi. It should come out to be about 44. Set Xmin and Ymin to -8pi. Set Xmax and Ymax to 8pi. This is just so you can see the full spirograph. Set XScl and YScl to 100 so you won’t see the smaller lines.
Tumblr media
Go to Graph and let the spirograph be drawn out.
Tumblr media
Go to Zoom and select ZSquare.
Tumblr media
You now have a spirograph! Congratulations! Decorate it any way you like. <3

When we say that Ada Lovelace was arguably the world’s first computer programmer, that “arguably” isn’t thrown in there because of questions of definitions or precedence – she definitely wrote programs for a computer, and she was definitely the first.
Rather, the reason her status as the world’s first computer programmer is arguable is because during her lifetime, computers did not exist.
Yes, really: her code was intended for Charles Babbage’s difference engine, but Babbage was never able to build a working model – the material science of their time simply wasn’t up to the challenge. Lovelace’s work was thus based on a description of how the difference engine would operate.
Like, imagine being so far ahead of your time that you’re able to identify and solve fundamental problems of computer programming based on a description of the purely hypothetical device that would run the code you’re writing.

How to use a TI-84+ calculator as a game controller for Raspberry Pi
You will need:
• TI-84+
• Raspberry Pi with Retropie installed
• Usb Cable to connect with the calculator
• A Computer (Windows or Mac)
• A USB keyboard
• TI’s SmartPad App
• A keyboard tester (go to one of those websites that can check ur keyboard)
• TI-Connect Software
First, download and install the TI Connect software. This can be found on TI’s website, or if you google it.
Next, download TI’s SmartPad app. Here is a link for that:
https://education.ti.com/en/software/details/en/EE314B40536F4E378182D30450A8E25D/84smartpad
Plug the usb cable into the computer and transfer the app file to the calculator.
Go to “Apps” and select SmartPad, go to a keyboard tester and press buttons to know which goes where. 2nd and Alpha are Ctrl-Super-F6 and Ctrl-Super-F7, respectively. The arrow keys are the obvious ones.
Boot up your Retropie.
Because of the “multiple keypress” problem, you have to map out your keys using an actual USB keyboard. Plug in the keyboard and map the keys, but if you want 2nd to be “A”, you would put F6 for A, and so on.
Unplug the keyboard when done and plug in your calculator. Make sure the SmartPad app is running. Give it a few seconds, and the Pi should recognize it as a keyboard!
You can now play games using your TI-84+.
(But maybe not games that require a joystick controller like for the N64. I have mine made to work with the snes).
Enjoy!

hell yea!!
My TI-83 Plus calculator is almost 15 years old and works just as well as it did on the first day. Its outlasted every other piece of technology I’ve ever purchased for a similar price or greater.
