I’m mostly a finer artist and a writer, but there’s no telling what ADHD art rants I will commit. They/He/She

My friend’s 19 year old cat who wanted some Cocoa Puffs is the muse for this masterpiece.

This is an art piece I did called “An Inheritance in Buttons.” The piece is composed from buttons ranging from the 1920s onward, as far as I can confirm. I had received many sewing kits from deceased relatives, friends, my husband’s family, and often even strangers, as I am the only seamstress left among my family, and one of few in my region. I had a handful of buttons from so many collections and I couldn’t stand seeing them in a jar in the bottom of my sewing hoard, so I sifted through them and put those with a story, sentimental connection, or unique quality here.

Some pictures of my wedding cord that I made from braiding three inkle-woven cords. One with each of our colors and one with both colors intertwined, framed with ivory and gold. The ends have our sigils, the rattler and the raven.

Here is the first inkle band I ever wove - you might have seen it before as it now lives on the green linen Skjoldehamn hood I’ve posted before.

Chains and lace added to upcycle a Walmart Halloween costume. I call this one the Chain Chandelier.

The lettering on this piece really didn’t come out well, but I love the blue butterfly. Original freehanded design.

This pillow was upcycled from one of my dad’s shirts that he wore in the 90s exclusively to piss off my ma.

Concept art and finished embroidery - the theme was stained glass, but to me the final project reads more geometric art.
