@taylorswift @taylornation I’m super excited to have had the opportunity to get tickets for Indianapolis N2 with my best friend. Once I got those tickets I had to get admitted into the hospital again for this excruciating pain in my abdomen and radiated to my back. Assuming this was more gallbladder issues with gallstones and my clot in my liver, these are what I had just been discharged from the hospital for. Well that was far from what the issue was at hand. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with bile duct cancer (Adenocarcinoma). To say I was shocked would be an understatement. It was like someone ripped my heart out and stomped on it. I felt completely defeated. At 35 years old, I’ve had a life of struggling with cystic fibrosis, a life saving double lung transplant, and now adding the C word to the list. While I’m the most positive person and always have a smile on my face, sometimes it’s hard to be so strong all the time. I think this is a valid feeling when you have fought your whole life. I know going to Indy N2 will boost my morale and spirits to go through chemo. I told the doctors that I have The Eras Tour on November 2 and they are making it happen that I come and see you, Taylor. I’m so blessed to be coming and always grateful for you and @taylornation who have taken care of me since day in 2006/2007 when I fell in love with your love and passion for music, songwriting and performing. Lyrics are always chefs kiss 😘 I won’t let cystic fibrosis, double lung transplant, and cancer define me or hold me back from doing things I love. My goal is to be able to say hi to you and Taylor nation at the show on November 2. I’ll be in section 143, row 12, seats 5-6 🤍 I love you, Taylor. Thank you for keeping my spirits up and loving me through it all

Happy @taylorswift Album release day! LOVER IS GENIUS! When kelsey and i listened to “Soon You’ll Be Better,” We couldn’t help but cry. After she said, “ All I could think about was you.” The song is about Taylor’s mom having cancer and how she needed to get better because Taylor wouldn’t know what to do without her. All I could think of is being that way towards all my friends who have CF and chronic illnesses. It’s such a hard world to live in and having a chronic illness is so difficult. I couldn’t help but think of my friends and family watching me and thinking that exact same thing, soon you’ll be better because you have to. My life lately has been full of a lot of loss and it doesn’t get easier. I know I have the most special guardian angels watching over me every day and I’m just so grateful to have them in my life.💜 loss is hard but honestly, I wouldn’t be who I am without them in my life. I was truly blessed to have known them and call them my best friends (Lea & Annie) . I love you! 💕@Taylorswift , thank you for being a genius and a mastermind! #Lover is a masterpiece and it’s been on repeat and will be for now on! Hey Swifties! This is my transplant best friend Annie who is only twenty twooooooo! We both have #cysticfibrosis and have gone through a double lung transplant , however due to rejection she has had 2 of them and was need of a 3rd. ONE. YEAR. AGO my family and friends got to hold me in their hands...literally! We got to hold and examine my old CF infected lungs. To say this wasn’t an emotional and remarkable day is so false! One year ago, I signed myself out of the hospital!! This was a moment of freedom with my new lungs! It was a monumental NYE where my parents, my boyfriend and I were so happy to have me home (at the apartment next to stanford) and breathing with no oxygen and no chest tubes! My 2017 was amazing and even though there have been minor bumps in the road, I am seriously so blessed! Thank you for all the love and support! Please have a very happy and safe NYE tonight!
