mark always pays attention to you, no matter what he’s doing. if he’s busy on his phone scrolling through socials, noticing that your skirt is slowly riding up, he carefully brings a hand toward it and pulls it down gently.

insists on carrying heavy bags, even just carrying your bag. no matter how many times you insist and say ‘no markie, ‘s light enough.’ he will make you give it to him so he can carry it on his shoulder.

if he notices you struggling with anything, oh he is right there instantly, helping you out and making everything better. "i saw you struggling, let me do it for you, hm? rest your pretty self."

SHARED EXPERIENCES | RENJUN .

renjun never usually says he misses you but you kind of get the hint when he invites you to do something with him - even if its just something as simple as going shopping or just going on a small walk to pick up some paint for his next painting.

he stores his best memories of you both in the back of his mind and usually tends to bring them up when you're both laying in bed together, "do you remember that time we got caught in the rain on our first date?" or "remember when i tripped over trying to get you ice cream because we were in such a hurry?"

he remembers all the firsts of your experiences together like: first movie you watched together, first silly inside joke, first time he realised he was in love during something totally mundane like making instant noodles at 2 in the morning after a long day. these things mean more to him than dramatic declarations.

QUALITY TIME | JENO .

as a homebody, jeno loves to be spending time indoors with you. making the most of it by watching a movie with you, or a show. he doesn’t mind. spending time with you is just worth it for him.

you both don’t need to speak, just being near each other is enough. you always find yourself sitting close to jeno, you love being by his side.

sunday mornings are the best for the both of you though. just laying in bed, all snuggled up under the covers, legs intertwined. your back against his chest, his arm wrapped around your waist and the other under your head. soft sighs, murmurs exiting your lips as you complain about not wanting to leave the covers.

PHYSICAL TOUCH | HAECHAN .

haechan will always have his hands on you, come on. who else would be clingy at 9am after just waking up. arms already wrapped around your waist, soft kisses trailing down your neck, his morning voice in your ear like a melody. “smells good, baby.”

whenever you’re sat somewhere, he always has a hand on the top of your knee or your thigh, gently squeezing sometimes. he loves doing it during a conversation you’ve noticed, either squeezing or playing piano chords on your leg. you don’t mind it though.

whenever you’re a little overwhelmed, haechan brings you to his side and wraps an arm around your shoulder, shushing you quietly and whispering sweet nothings while his hand trails small circles on your arm. his touch always calms you down, he knows what will calm you.

jaemin is always there, complimenting you or expressing how proud of you he was even if it was just something small you did. he loved letting you know, just saying anything that comes to mind like: “im so proud of you, baby.” “you did great, alright?”

he’s always reassuring you whenever you feel down or just out of place in the world. his words mean so much to you, he always knows exactly what to say. “you’re doing the best you can, all you can do is try. you can’t be expected to always do good. it’s natural, it’s a human process. don’t worry your pretty little head, hm? i’m here for you and i see you.”

jaemin likes leaving a little something in your bag or just on the kitchen counter if he has to leave before you do. a photo he took of you during a date one time with a note that read: “the prettiest girl ever, always looking so stunning no matter what you do. have the best day, ‘m always here.”

chenle hates to admit it but he loves spending time with you. he always gets you to cook with him, softly wrapping his arms around your waist as he watches you cut some vegetables up. "i'm just waiting for the pot to heat up, i'll watch you do this." he mumbled into your neck.

you casually mentioned liking a certain plushie, obscure snack, or pair of socks with capybaras on them once.. or twice (can't blame you) and next thing you know, it’s sitting on your desk with a sticky note that says, “this reminded me of your weird little brain. hope you like it baby."

loves cuddling up on the sofa in the living room, putting on one of stephen currys old basketball matches with food on the way for the both of you to enjoy for the night. you don't mind watching it because its time together and you barely had that time so you both are taking it for granted before he gets busy again.

DIGITAL CONNECTION | JISUNG

jisung loves sending you memes that he thinks you would find funny, maybe even some that he knows the both of you will giggle at. even tiktoks, throughout the day, the notifications slowly piling up as he sends one with a ‘this is us’ or ‘reminded me of u :’)’.

he loves customising your online spaces together, whether that be on minecraft with matching skins, matching pfps, having the same handle on overwatch / slightly matching ones.. anything that matches you both together? yeah. customised straight away. especially your avatars on any game.. be prepared.

whenever you both are far from one another, you always end up facetiming late at night and falling asleep together after sharing your day. you always send photos to him while you’re away, updating him about it that way where as jisung was the type to spam text and send a video at least.

whenever you guys are eating together, no matter what it is, he always passes you the things from his plate/portion that he knows you like

if it’s your dinner plates, he’ll let you give him the things you don’t like off of your plate, and he’ll give you whatever you like off of his

hell, if you don’t like the food you got at a restaurant and you can’t return it, he’ll trade plates with you as a whole

the sweetest thing about this is… almost all the foods he’s giving up for you are things he actually likes! he just pretends he doesn’t so that he can see your smile when you get to have them

you’re laying against the pillow, having another midnight chat with jaemin full of giggles and random conversations that last until the sun comes up. you’ve fallen into a moment of silence, wiping the tears of laughter and catching your breath before you speak up again.

“nana?” you call, facing him and twirling one of the strands of hair falling into his face. he hums, his head propped up on one arm as he looks back at you.

“this is really random, but i’m remembering that one time you sifted through an entire party sized candy bag and took all the flavors i didn’t like out before giving it to me. that made me really happy.”

he smiles, “i’m happy to hear that. i wouldn’t want any of it to go to waste by having those ones left over, so i just gave you a bag without them and kept whatever was picked out for me. only the best for you, hm?”

“you always pay really good attention, picking the things i don’t like out of my plate, or giving me the things i like off of yours. it makes me feel really loved, and seen.” the conversation shifted form nonsensical to very sweet, and you can see the love and happiness in his eyes as you express these emotions to him.

“truly, i’m really happy that i can make you feel that way. it’s my job to make you feel that way, and i’m doing it well.. but, can i tell you something?” he’s biting back a giggle, copying you and twirling a piece of your own hair. when you nod, he continues, “i actually like a lot of the same foods you do, but i give them up to you anyway because it makes me happy to see you enjoy them.”

your lovesick expression turns to shock, sitting straight up as you look at him incredulously. “so you’re missing out on eating your favorite foods? for me?”

he nods slowly, laughing at your reaction. “and i actually hate the same foods you do, but i eat them anyway because you said you feel bad wasting them.”

you’re immediately yelling at him, albeit out of love, complaining about how it’s insane that he’d torture himself like that all for you to be happy, but he just pulls you back down into the soft cushions, shushing you and reminding you that it’s worth it when his princess, his angel is happy.

when you’re at the store together, he pays close attention to everything you look at a second longer than normal

before holidays or special occasions, he looks through your clothing tags and makeup packaging for certain brands that pop up more than once

when you mention a show or movie you like, he immediately saves it to his watchlist so he can inform himself for you

his ears are always open, ready for you to rant to him about something you like or give him updates on whatever’s going on in your world of special interests

you’re scrolling through jaemin’s phone, a little too obsessed with your own that while it’s recharging you go to look for something else to scroll on. he’s sitting next to you, an arm around your shoulder yet he’s paying attention to the tv in front of you both. you’ve gotten bored of the games he has downloaded, so you end up in his photos app to see what he’s got saved.

unsurprisingly, his camera roll is filled with photos of you, varying from ones which should be kept in his hidden folder, to candids, to ones that you’ve begged him to delete for being ‘too ugly’. there’s a few of his friends too, many of the lu triplets as well. however, after a while of scrolling you come across the photos he took on your last shopping date, and there’s a few random ones of random shelves at different stores?? clicking on them and zooming in, you look closer and they’re actually all stuff you remember looking at. some of them you can even see your finger in frame, pointing at one of the products.

it really touches your heart, and maybe something’s off in the balance of your body because happy tears prick your eyes as you turn around to look at jaemin, teary-eyed smile on as you point to one of the photos. “nana, why do you have all these?”

he smiles down at you, gliding a hand over your head. “there’s so much you want, i’ve gotta keep tabs, don’t i? i need to make sure i remember it all so i can get it for you in the future.”

you’re already further in his arms, swinging a leg over his lap to lay your head in his neck and keep your arms around him. in his neck, it’s muffled, but he hears you mumble a ‘that’s so sweet, i love you’ as the crook of his neck dampens. with a hand running up and down your back, he leaves a kiss to your head, reminding you that it’s what you deserve, nothing less.

bf!jaemin who is literally your biggest supporter, to the point where everyone dulls in comparison

his social media rarely ever includes himself, except the few times he can’t help but brag about his own features, usually involving photos of you or his babies.

people can expect to click his story and see candids of you, including a caption like ‘look at my baby go!!’ or something along the lines of that

he’s always at the front line, whether it be for a performance of some sort or simply just ordering something from a cashier, ready to give you his dashing smile and a ‘i’m so proud of you’

his friends will say “i passed all my exams!” and of course he’ll acknowledge that, but not without a “my girlfriend does that all the time like it’s nothing”

you’re loading the test site over and over again, sitting on the cafe toilet while you do so. it was an exam you’d been particularly stressed about, and jaemin offered to take you out as a distraction. you just couldn’t help it though, the time was just a minute shy of what it would be when the scores came out, and you were desperate to find out what you got. he’s been standing outside for what you know is quite a while, likely confused when you were on your way out of the store before suddenly needing to use the bathroom.

finally, nearly slipping off the toilet with anxious sweat, you refresh it one more time and the score is revealed, showing you.. passed! with an obnoxiously heavy sigh of relief, you finish up and run out of the store with a smile. he’s looking at you with an eyebrow raised. he starts speaking, likely asking about why you’re smiling after exiting the bathroom, but in your excitement you cut him off, jumping up and down in front of him.

“i passed! jaemin, i passed it!” you cheer, and he’s already set your cups down, pulling you into his arms, armed with a million kisses as he spins you around in celebration. it leaves you flustered, knowing you’re in public when he does that, but if anything everyone deserves to know that you’re doing such good things. in all honestly, you’re lucky he’s not already telling the people who pass by the two of you.

this sort of coincides with one of the other ones, but it’s true. he’s always checking if you’ve eaten, and if not he’s cooking or ordering food for you

you could have the slightest pain or ache, and he’s already ready with lotion to massage the trouble area

he already treats you like a princess, but when you’re sick or in pain you truly feel like one

he always knows just what you need! if you hit him up, telling him about some random feeling, he can diagnose you right away and take care of you just how you need

you’re way too tired to get up and greet him, but you hear jaemin come in the front door, grocery bags rustling in his hands while he toes his shoes off. you hear him greet his cats, eventually cluttering around the kitchen with whatever he bought. you’re falling in and out of sleep while he does so, waking up a few times to a noise that’s a little too loud, followed by one of his funny replacements for a curse word that he always uses when he’s around you.

eventually, he rubs your shoulder, kissing your cheek to wake you up. you whine, tearing up with fatigue, still pulling him into a hug gratefully. he doesn’t even flinch when you start coughing, spit spraying in his face, shaking off your apology with a laugh. helping you sit up, he helps you take your medicine, spoon feeding you the soup he spent so much time making for you.

he doesn’t force you to finish it all, putting it away when your stomach can’t handle any more. when he comes back, he gets dressed in something comfortable, holding you in his lap while massaging your back, taking the pain away with soft pushes of his fingers. you fall asleep and wake up in that same position, jaemin’s sweet smile looking down at you, suddenly appearing so much clearer now that you already feel so much better.

you’re no exception! he’s got an entire photo album of you shelved at home, and an even bigger one in his phone

there’s only one person you can ever thank or credit for all the photos on your instagram, and it’s him of course <3

whenever you get all dolled up (pls let him style you, he’ll be so happy!), he’s got his phone out, directing you on how to pose so that he can get the perfect shot

you hear the shutter clicking, paired with the flash coming as you stand with your back turned to jaemin. his thumb is quick against his phone screen, taking a million photos at lightning speed. your face is hidden from the camera, smile bright as you giggle at his comments, hearing him mumble things like ‘wow, so sexy!’ and ‘so beautiful’.

“okay, can you..” he murmurs, gently using a hand to turn your head, revealing your side profile to the camera. you shiver, and he smiles, apologizing with a kiss to your shoulder.

he backs up once again, standing at different angles to get the best photos of you that he can. not a single one goes by without an over the top compliment, the mini photoshoot ending with a kiss, your back pressing against the cold metal of the bridge’s lighting. it’s post date night, and it was actually jaemin who stopped you, eyes shining impossibly bright when he asked to take photos of you against the second prettiest view he’d ever seen.

it’s safe to say that when he sent the photos to you, all of them being perfect enough for your instagram, all of your friends (and even his) were commenting, praising your beauty and your boyfriend’s skill. it’s safe to say that no matter what, you can trust jaemin in capturing your beauty perfectly.

bf!haechan who always has music playing in some form or fashion inside his house. you'll be in the kitchen making a meal for yourself, and he'll just walk in the room, humming whatever song is playing. he'll wrap his arms around your waist, kissing your shoulder before he rests his chin on it. "what're you making pretty?" hyuck would ask, voice smooth and soft. you'd respond, offering him a bite which makes him smile. once you finish making your meal, he'd spin you around and insist that you dance with him. you'd agree, and before you know it, you're swaying with him while be gently sings the song to you. he'd get lost in the moment and pull you in for a kiss, his hands gripping at your waist. after a moment—maybe a few moments—he'd pull away and kiss the tip of your nose, his arm still wrapped around you. "don't let your food get cold baby," hyuck would say, walking away from you with a smirk.

bf!haechan who's always cold and uses you as his personal heater. you'll be somewhere in public, like a grocery store line, and he'll nudge his hand with yours, sliding it up into your sleeve. "it's cold in here..." he'd say quietly but cutely, eyes drifting up to yours as he interwinted your hands. on occasion, he'd rest his head on your shoulder, burying his face into your neck, swearing that his nose is cold. despite this, hyuck will always give you his jackets whenever you say you're cold because at the end of the day he truly just wants to care for you. even if he uses this small tendency as an excuse to be clingy, it's still cute to see him muttering about how cold he is.

it’s morning, golden light peaking through the curtains as your fingers brush against jaemin’s bare shoulder. he’s lying beside you, one arm curled beneath the pillow, the other already searching for you in his half asleep haze.

“come here baby” he murmurs, voice low and soft from sleep. his hands finds your waist and tugs gently, pulling you into the space where his body is warm and waiting.

you don’t fight. you never do …

he presses a slow kiss to your collarbone, then another just above your heart. his lips are soft, just barely there, but they linger like he’s pouring every word he doesn’t want to say out loud onto your skin.

“your up early ..” you whisper, fingers sliding into his messy hair.

he hums, kissing your cheek before settling his head against your chest. “couldn’t sleep without you close.”

your heart tugs a little at that. it’s always like with jaemin, sweet, slow, wrapped in touches and murmurs. he doesn’t say much, but he makes sure you feel everything.

“your clingy in the morning” you tease softly.

he lifts his head just enough to meet your gaze, his smile lazy but warm. “only for you princess.”

his fingers find your hand, tracing lazy circles over your knuckles. “you know” he says, voice barely above a whisper “this right here .. might be my favorite part of the day.”

“what part?”

“this” he says, lifting your joined hands to kiss your fingers. “you .. warm .. quiet .. mine.”

you look at him, chest full, your stomach fluttering. “your sweet” you chuckled softly.

“im sweet?” he grins, leaning in to nuzzle your neck. “baby im honey.”

you laugh quietly, but when his lips brush just below your jaw, your breath catches. the kisses get slower, deeper, his hands sliding gently up your side. noting rushed. noting wild. just jaemin, kissing you like he has all the time in the word.

“you smell good baby” he mumbles against your skin. “feels even better.”

he pulls back just enough to look at you, eyes soft, as his voice was lower now. “let me love you this morning.”

Mark never really gave much thought about the future—he was a live in the present, focus on the now kind of guy. In his mind, people spent way too much time chasing what could be and ended up missing out on what is.

And yet…

As he watches you from the sofa, your laughter bubbling out at some scene from the movie he let you choose, lips twitching in amusement, he can’t help it—he thinks about the future and what could be. What he could be—for you. 

He’d never thought that way about a partner before. But with you, everything was different. You felt like an extension of him, so effortlessly woven into every corner of his mind that there was this constant pull. The thoughts he never used to entertain, now taking up permanent space in his mind.

He pictures it so clearly sometimes, it almost scares him—soft mornings and quiet evenings. Your head resting on his shoulder, a cluttered house filled with the comfort of a million family photos. You’d still get to choose the movies at night, and he’d still pretend not to mind. Then, like always, you’d fall asleep against him, and he’d carry you to bed, careful and slow, because you’d never quite lose that habit he loves so much.

He can’t help it. Ever since he fell in love with you, he’s spent every living moment thinking about all the ways he could make you smile when you’re sad, all the meals he wants to cook for you, all the quiet, domestic things that come with forever.

And he wouldn’t mind—not one bit. Because he’d do anything to make you happy. Anything to make sure you feel just how deeply he loves you, how much he needs you. He’d give you his coat just to keep you warm, run to the pharmacy if you so much as sniffle. He wants to watch you laugh until your stomach hurts, get tipsy at dinner, and then carry you to bed when you’ve had one too many glasses of wine. He wants to kiss you when you’re grumpy, and kiss you when you’re happy. 

Hell, he’d even promise to do the dishes every night from now until forever, if that’s what it took to keep you.

And maybe it’s that thought—that dizzying, soul-deep want—that has him blurting out: “Marry me.”

Your eyes snap from the screen to him, wide and stunned. Your boyfriend doesn’t look nervous. His lips aren’t twitching, his ears aren’t red—he’s not joking.

“W–what?” you breathe, like the word knocked the air out of you.

“Marry me,” he repeats. 

And Mark knows it’s not the best proposal in the world—not even close to anything you actually deserve. No ring, no speech, no grand romantic gesture. Just him, blurting it out on a random evening with a movie playing in the background. Because that live-in-the-moment personality of his doesn’t come with a filter.

You stare at him, still stunned, your heart thudding and your cheeks flushed. You can’t help but blink once, twice, and then—“Are you serious? You... want me to marry you?”

He doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t waver.

“Yes, Y/N, I want you to marry me.”

Your mouth is dry, and you’re barely breathing as you blink again. Your heart stumbles in your chest, and you ask the only thing your dazed brain can manage: “Why?”

“Why?” he echoes, a little breathless himself, like he can’t believe you even have to ask. He shifts on the couch, eyes locked on yours, and exhales slowly. “Because I can’t imagine a future where you’re not in it.”

You shake your head, a disbelieving laugh slipping out. “You don’t think about the future.”

That makes him scoff. Then a crooked smile tugs at his lips. 

“Okay, how about this?” he says, leaning in slightly. “Every time I close my eyes, you’re there. When I try to stop thinking, I can’t—because it’s you. It’s always you, Y/N. Your laugh. Your eyes. Your fucking face is etched into my mind so deep, I swear I see you even when I blink.”

“Mark—”
