Cause I have a list of 161 relationship hc and they're judt SITTING THERE and i am so bored. I just. Please. I have broadened my writing availabilities. To Haikyuu!, BNHA, Kuroko's Basketball, Marvel, Ouran High School Host Club, Cells At Work, Yuri On Ice, istg i will write a good omens short story fanfiction if you so will.

it takes about three seconds for him to process your question; one and a half second more than other questions he’s gotten used to answering like ‘how are you?’ or ‘can i have your autograph?’ or ‘omi-omi, did you put those cans of disinfectant in my locker?’

you shrug, pretty metallic top throwing refractions of light across the room. he wonders if the material is as silky as it looks. 

“okay,” you say, nonchalant. 

he twitches. you genuinely don’t look too offended by his refusal, but something still nags at him. the cheap disco lights of the karaoke room slide over your skin, across your jaw and down your neck and he wonders if the pulse is quickened there; wonders if the blood is pushing against your skin in that frenzied pace that he feels starting within himself now.

he sighs.

he doesn’t even like karaoke. 

he doesn’t even like karaoke but he’d come anyway and he’d like to say that he was dragged here against his will by bokuto, who’d asked miya, who’d asked hinata, who’d asked him and invited you by extension, even though he wasn’t planning to go. but when he’d brought it up in passing, you’d seemed so excited about it that he just couldn’t bring himself to back out. so here you two were, on the gross couch of some private karaoke room while the others are taking a piss break and you’re gorgeous and shiny, asking him to make out.

“tch.” he leans back. 

“if they catch us, i’ll kill you,” he grumbles and that’s all you need, face lighting up as you scramble to crawl onto his lap.

It was always one thing. Perhaps it was Tony and Steve arguing, or maybe Thor bothering Loki, and maybe it was you making fun of the spider boy. Whatever it was, it was exciting for others to watch. However, between all the fighting, Loki and you never did. It was odd to everyone else since they had this deep hatred for the God of Mischief. To you, you didn’t care, you enjoyed Loki’s presence and always knew if you needed a break from the others, you’d go to him. He was always there, even if the two of you started out on a bumpy road since he was hesitant of you when you first came around. 

Loki thought you’d be like everyone else, so it wasn’t totally personal. Though, after your many attempts to get to know him, his wall eventually fell around you and then, the bonding started.  Everyone around the two of you thought it was weird, after all, Loki was the man who wanted to take over Earth and sent an army onto New York City. Even with that fact, it never seemed to bother you.

The Dreaded Bookshelf

You had just been trying to study with your boyfriend Lev in the library when you remembered a book you had forgotten, but fortunately the library had the book in stock, so you didn't have to go home again for it.

You were scanning the sections for where the book would be when you realized it was on one of the shelves at the top. On one of the shelves you couldn't reach. You stretched out as much as you could, grabbing for the book, you even tried climbing the shelf a little but you got scared something would happen. So you just tried reaching for it now to no avail. You had almost given up when you felt a hand on your hip, and another arm reach above you for said book. You turned your head around to see Lev Haiba himself smiling at you with the book in hand.

Lev had been waiting for his partner to come back, but it had been a while now, and he was getting bored. Choosing to look for them, he wondered the library, looking into each row of shelves until he found Y/N reaching for a book in one of the higher shelves. He giggled to himself, finding it adorable enough to help them. He grabbed Y/N' hip to help him balance to reach for the book, handing it down to them.

"You're so short baby, you can't even reach a shelf! It's so cute!!" He exclaimed, getting stares from other students. You could feel your face heat up in embarrassment from not being able to reach the book yourself, the comments from your boyfriend weren't helping though. "Oooh, did I embarrass you" he may seem oblivious sometimes (the majority of the time) but he did notice most things if it came to you. "You're so cute when you're embarrassed!"

This time he got shushed from strangers, making him shrink a little. While what he said was true, his ears were also very red, you looked so adorable, and he couldn't believe you were with him! "Dumbass you have to be quiet" you scolded him "sorry baby, I just love you soooooo much" he tried to whisper, emphasis on 'tried'. You sighed, patting him on the top of his head "I love you too Lev". He grinned at you with his ear to ear smile as you guys started walking back towards the study table.

Late Night Faces

You had had to stay at work longer than you would've preferred, late into the day, and when you got home you were exhausted.

Akaashi heard the front door open, quickly followed by you coming into the bedroom and flopping face first into your shared bed. "Y/N?" When all you responded with was a muffled hum, you felt him rub your back, easing away at the tense muscles.

"You know you can't fall asleep like that"

"...."

Looking over to your husband, in his house coat and pajamas with a pout, you eventually rolled over off the bed and shuffled unwillingly out to the bathroom, pulling out the face mask and make up remover you had stored in the cupboard. As you stared at yourself in the mirror, you couldn't help but notice Akaashi standing at the doorway. "Keijiiiiiiii" you tossed your shoulders around, whining at him. He sighed with hints of amusement, shaking his head. "Fine" He made his way over to y/n, as they hopped onto the counter. "But you have to be quiet so I can concentrate" "I will"

You did not. But he didn't mind. "It was such a long day Keiji, I'm telling you the people I work with are just so....aughh, and then Mr. Hisashi gave me an ass tone of paperwork to do again!" You vented to your husband as he rubbed oils under your eyes, nodding his head to show he was paying attention. You continued to rant about your boss and coworkers while Akaashi applied the bubbly face mask gently over your face. You grinned mischievously, taking off some bubbles with your finger and smudging it onto Keijis nose. He shuddered a bit from the feeling of the cold bubbles, but took some bubbles off the mask himself, choosing to wipe it on your neck. You screeched out a random curse at him, rubbing your neck with a scowl, making him chuckle.

After waiting the 15 minutes, spent playing with the bubbles and chatting mindlessly, he took the face mask off, tossing it in the compost, coming back to you gone from the bathroom. He searched the kitchen to see if you were in there for a late night snack, but saw no sign. When he went back to the bedroom, he found you passed out in bed, with a snore that you would deny in the morning if he had decided to bring it up. He got in bed with y/n, pulling the blankets over the two of them as they snuggled up to his chest, he's gladly accepting of the sleepy cuddles and wrapped his arms around you.

Maybe the day hadn't been THAT bad.
