[ hello tumblr! so sorry for not posting for nearly an entire YEAR. my motivation to write has been down in the trenches for months and it has never came out of it... though my mickey mouse au still lives on, it exists in my mind exclusively... ]

[ i am planning on getting my shit / lore together and in order first before making any real posts / writing about it! no promises that i'll get it done, knowing my motivation habits, but it is on my priority list whenever it hits me. ::D ] [ - m3 ]

“…”

Silence.

That was the only thing heard from the booth as the “Fab Seven” [Minus One.] sat together in the diner. The only sounds the group could hear were the chatter of the other guests and toons around them.

The moon shone brightly that day, and the atmosphere in the parks was quite lively and energetic, as per usual. But none of the toons in the group felt like entertaining anyone right now. 

Oswald was the first to speak up. “… Two weeks, huh?”

“… Two whole weeks,” Donald sighed, resting his head on the table as Goofy raised a gloved hand to pat his back.

Minnie hummed, trying to ease her worries as she petted Pluto’s head. She soon spoke up, her voice soft yet filled with worry.

“… Maybe he’s… Just tryin’ out… New thi-”

“Oh, come on, Min!" Daisy cut her off, gesturing over to the view of the park outside the window. 

“Mickey’s NEVER been gone for this long! The longest he’s ever been away for any of these ‘business trips’ is THREE DAYS!” She exclaimed, raising three feathery fingers up in the air.

Daisy had a point. As much as Mickey’s business trips always kept him busy, he was never gone for long. 

“Not only that, but he’s barely been communicating with us!” Donald added on, raising his head from the table. “If this was any other ordinary trip, he would’ve sent us like a million messages by now! But so far, he’s been DEAD SILENT!”

His voice rose at that last statement, which caused the chatter of the people around them to stop for a moment. Minnie quickly waved them all off with a small, uneasy chuckle, which caused the chatter to resume like nothing ever happened. 

“I have t’ agree… Mickey would never just leave us with nothin’ like this…” She spoke out, the worry in her voice increasing. Pluto raised a paw to her hand as if to comfort her, which made Minnie sigh softly as she resumed petting the dog.

While the rest of the group continued to talk, one of them stayed silent. Oswald looked around the diner, his gaze analytical. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary; except for the presence of one important mouse.

His eyes scanned the people around them, seeing the families and the toons talking amongst each other, the workers behind the counter, and the sound of the usual kitchen racket. His gaze landed on the corner of the diner, where a security camera sat innocently in the dark.

He could’ve sworn it was aimed directly at them.

[ As the board members continued to bicker around, the Director stayed silent, looking out the window with a slight smile. ]

So, i recently played and finished the game ''Figment'' and it's sequel ''Figment 2: Creed Valley'' and i loved them! Really charming puzzle/adventure games that i honestly believe deserves more recognition.

The characters are, from left to right: Dusty (the main character), the Jester and Piper. (I love these three so much 😭)
