Lady Vulca is not being held hostage and does infact leave and do things by herself. Of course President Borusa and President Flavia supported me! Lord Borusa was our top ranking client? He went to our wedding? Quite literally threatened to take away my Cardinalship if I dared to upset Vulca who made his hats?

Every Gallifreyan will have their own normal temperature baseline, somewhere between 15-19°C (59-66.2°F).

This shouldn't deviate by more than 2-3 degrees.

If their temperature rises above 19°C (66.2°F), they could be suffering from hyperthermia.

📋 Recognising Hyperthermia

Hyperthermia occurs when their body temperature exceeds 19°C (66.2°F), potentially leading to heatstroke and other serious complications. Signs and symptoms include:

Flushed Skin: The skin may appear red and feel hot to the touch.

Sweating: While not as common as in humans, excessive sweating may occur.

Weakness: A general feeling of fatigue or weakness.

Dizziness and Confusion: Disorientation and dizziness can be significant signs.

Rapid Heart Rate: Increased heart rate can accompany the rise in temperature.

Everything is lovely and busy as usual on the lovely red planet~ Lady Vulca wants desperately for us to sell our current home and move closer to the countryside…

She has been really inspired by nature and homesteading(unfortunately, I will admit our mutual friend who is a Cerulean is making it quite tempting). She really also loves those earth peacocks that were sent here. Vulca wants to raise some for the feathers they drop for accessories.

I am not a fan of doing those types of things, nor do I have time. I told her I will not be participating outside of paying for certain things for them. And I want the feathers high quality and clean. And not around the tot.

But we shall see! Who knows!

Cabins are in fashion, darling. Use tree farms, it’s not hard you know. Plus, there’s plenty of carbon for them in your primitive fossil fuel run planet. Happy trees and your poor lungs won’t be hurt, hmm? Vulca says hello but she does not want to return to earth especially with the child. Happy planting!

For the ladies it depends on the type of secret. Cardinal Lambda would never be able to cheat or do anything other than light friendly flirting without Vulca getting it out of her. Lambda has to work very hard not to spoil gifts and surprises early. However, there are things in Lambdas mind and secrets with her work as a Cardinal that she would have to be killed before exposing them. She would give up her life without hesitation if it meant keeping the planet and her family safe and letting secrets die with her.

Lady Vulca has become more open in her marriage with Lambda. In fact she was not even attracted to Lambda when they met in person at their engagement. She found her sort of ugly and was disappointed in her lack of willingness to perfect facial flaws as most Patrexians did through plastic surgery. It took several years for her to open up to Lambda who in contrast was very open about some things of her work to try and at least build somewhat of a a smooth co habitation for the next several hundred years together. Nowadays, Vulca is much more open to her wife and loves it when she mentions something and Lambda will surprise her with the jewelry tool or dinner reservations to the restaurant she wishes to try.

The little girl I helped loom is getting quite big. It breaks my hearts knowing she will have to leave us for the academy in the future.

Lady Vulca is devastated. We both know what has to happen. I know she will thrive. Lady V also has requested more timetots knowing good and well we will likely not be selected to have any for at least another century or two.

We are not animals.

I love Vulca but the academy is thousands of credits a year based on our income. I could not afford to put ten timetots through school at once even if the planet would let Vulca have what she wishes. Alas, she is so perfect I struggle to say “no”….
