This is mainly just me trying to explain how i see the whole snatcher and Vanessa deal

You can ignore this

but I'm kinda on both sides, I'm both on the side of "snatcher hates Vanessa" and "snatcher loves vanessa"

I like to think he has mixed feelings. Like, he's deeply hurt by her, but he still loves the sweet Vanessa that she once was, but other wise, he hates the ice queen guts.

He doesn't hate her guts so much to the point of hurting her, even in the multiplayer he always runs away whenever she's slightly upset, and he doesn't even let you defend yourself or attack her in the manor (giving the vibe that he cares still for her)

So in my head, he is still in love with Vanessa, but the sweet, nice and sane Vanessa that he fell in love with that day, not the jealous, crazy ice queen that we see now in the manor.

He has like a hate-love relationship with her.

But at the same time i like to think that Vanessa dosen't love him back anymore. Like, yes some nostalgia for the old times is still there, but it quickly becomes hatred because the prince "cheated" on her, so all of snatcher remaining love for her is a one sided love.

but in all of this, snatcher still messes with her. by stealing her crowns and pointing out flaws ("she's a cleaning freak" - Vanessa's curse), but can't bring himself to actually hurt her physically. Yes, mocking that crazy queen is like joking about trauma for him, but hurting her? He just can't do it. IF a nice Vanessa, the one he loves and remembers would ever walk around, he would be the same "naive" and "dumb" prince for her, all over again. Just with some changes in personality. But that's because he doesn't know Vanessa has always been the crazy queen. Maybe in the past, at first, Vanessa was actually a decent partner, a good one! But got worse over the time, but she was always so nice towards the prince, and snatcher dosen't seem to even know about the things in her diary. it's the cellar that struck a nerve really.

It's like if snatcher is only bothering her in the multiplayer out of spite, just because he CAN (which, technically it's true.)

I'm too worn out for going through this whole drama again. The VC DLC will forever be a mod that was made entirely by fans, thus not being canon for me. They came up with the voice lines, so it is not of importance for me canon wise. If you listen to the old voice lines from Seal the Deal they clash with the VC DLC ones:

"You should have seen her back in the day! Like dynamite with a laserbeam, you know."

"I got a lonely old friend who's living all by herself in dusty old house. You should pay her a visit. Her cookies are to DIE for."

"We all have a soulmate, supposedly. I mean, I know I do! She's waiting for me! I don't see anyone waiting for you though."

He doesn't sound sarcastic or despising towards her in these lines for me personally.

Although I agree with you on Vanessa's part. I don't see her loving him anymore but holding a grudge against her prince and every fond memory turns into despise and vengeance real quick.

However, I have my ultimate confirmation now anyways, that is all I will ever need.
