Bruce dropped out of medical school and as much as he tries to hide it, his kids all find out. Ofcourse they never let him live it down after that
Emo 21-year-old Bruce: You're not my father, Alfred!
Alfred: Quite right. I have a medical degree, and you don't.
Bruce:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dick: Hey I'm dropping out of Gotham University
Bruce: What? You're quitting college halfway?! Unacceptable, you cannot just give up on your engineering degree-
Dick: I did not just hear the failed doctor say that
Bruce:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bruce, fuming: You left my side tonight to go and gallivant around with harley quinn? A villain?
Steph: So what if she's a villain, Bruce? Atleast the villain has a doctorate.
Bruce:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bruce, bandaging Duke's wound because Alfred was busy: There, all done
Duke: Woah, didn't expect that from a college dropout
Bruce:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bruce: Stop ignoring my orders in the field! You need to listen, I have more experience-
Jason, as red hood, with his PhD in English: Which one of us actually has a Dr in front of their name?
Bruce:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tim: So I'm dropping out of high school
Bruce: You too?! First Dick and now you?!
Tim: No, first it was you, then Dick, and now me
Bruce:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bruce: Damian, your recent report card indicates you're falling behind in Biology
Damian: Tt. Must run in the family, then.

Fic Idea For Tim Drake And Jason Todd, and the Drake Family Dynamic
TW: Mention of drug abuse, overdose, infidelity, genetic addiction, general socialite behavior
The fics where Jack and Janet Drake are terrible parents who neglect and abuse Tim do make for good found family angst, yes.
However.
I propose to you something new and much much better. Yes, Tim's parents may not be winning any parent of the year awards, but they did teach their son how to be ruthless in the face of insults to their name. Together, Jack and Janet Drake are known as the sharks of the socialite world. You bleed a drop of blood and they'll sniff it out and sink their teeth into it, tearing you wide open.
Janet is a known social climber, she started at the bottom of the food chain and made her way to the top through coldness and apathy, using her mind to snap back at people when they dared to insult her or her family. Jack had been raised in the socialite world, and knows the ins and outs well. He knows that every smile is fake and every person is putting up a mask, and he knows how to see behind them.
This being said, I add in another popular fic trope. Young Tim and Jason meet at a gala, but Janet and Jack do not care that they talk, they actually encourage it. They always taught Tim not to take advantage of the way he was raised, or to think of himself as better because of something he was born into such as his wealth. When the Drakes found out that Brucie Wayne had taken in another boy, and that he was from Crime Alley, they did not believe a single thing the papers said, and promptly did not think much of it.
They were a little confused when their son developed an obsession with the Wayne's boy a few months later, but Tim had always been a little odd, and had always been fascinated by the Wayne's, what with seeing Dick Grayson's final performance, even if it was tainted by the awful events that occurred that night.
Of course a welcoming gala is hosted for the new son, Jason Todd, a couple months later. And of course the Drake's will make their appearance for it would be rude not to do so. They would be seen as prejudiced if they did not show, for they are welcoming this poor orphaned boy who lived on the streets and is now taken in by a rich man! How could you be so cruel as to not welcome him!
(The rich love to seen empathetic and thoughtful. It makes them feel better about how terrible they to those who need help)
(The Drake's, again, do not care much. The boy is just like any other, and they have a lovely son already. However Tim is so very excited, and the couple already knows the cruel things that will be said tonight, so they suppose it would be refreshing for Jason to talk to people who were not faking sympathy for his situation)
That's not to say that the Drake's were not sympathetic, just not in the ways that the surrounding crowd was.
At one point, Janet nearly scoffed after hearing some old bat tell Jason that "she truly felt for him. Truly, his situation was just awful, how could a mother set that kind of example for their child? He must feel so lucky to be living with someone as amazing as Brucie Wayne now. Not living on those filthy, disgusting streets anymore."
The poor boys face had turned so red Janet thought he might blow a gasket, and his expression was one of disgust so plain she felt she had to help him. How people could just assume the way they did, she would never know.
She looked down at her son, who was also watching the entire situation play out, and felt her lips upturn slightly. Tim had taken to watching people like a fish took to water, he was a natural at gathering information and reading people, as well as telling them what the wanted to hear.
Janet squeezed his shoulder and whispered to Tim, "Go, he looks like he needs a friendly face at the moment."
Tim's smile is bright and happy as he bounds over to Jason, and as they strike up a conversation, Jason's face slowly goes back to a normal color and he starts to form a smile of his own. Tim had always been bright and aware, and she was proud to call him her son. He was empathetic without giving pity, something she knew she hated receiving after talking about her own upbringing.
Satisfied with how things turned out, she leaves the two boys be, and turns to the crowd to find her husband. No doubt he's stomping down rumors left and right at the moment, he never did stand for the lies that circled the socialite community, no matter if they were about his family or someone else's.
Jack and Janet are talking to an older couple, Mr. and Mrs. Eldine, when they hear affronted gasps from a small gathering towards the other end of the ball room.
Jack and Janet both seem to realize at the same time that their son is presumably still with Jason. Jason, who has been called many names throughout the night, many unfavorable. And their son, their lovely Tim, who they taught to never hold back when insulted, or when someone he cares about is insulted.
To say they rushed to the center of the crowd was a bit of an understatement.
Sure enough, in the middle was a small clearing, and there stood Tim, shielding Jason with his body, and Eli Barnum, a man who was as sleazy as he was rich. Barnum stood red in the face, looking livid. Tim looked proud and defiant, and Jason looked shocked and worried.
Janet and Jack were at the boys' side swiftly.
"Timothy, could you please explain the meaning of this?" Jack's voice was strict and punishing to unfamiliar ears, but upon hearing it Tim relaxed minutely.
"He-" Tim was cut off before he could even start.
"Your son," Barnum spat, spittle flying from his mouth in his rage, "is the most disrespectful brat I've ever seen. You ought to teach him a lesson in respecting his elders, before someone else does it for you."
Jack tensed, and Janet's nostrils flared dangerously.
"Mr. Barnum, it would treat you well to not interrupt my son when he is speaking. It is impolite and frankly barbaric. Timothy, tell is what happened." Janet sounded every bit as terrifying as the tabloids said.
Tim looked from his mom, to Mr. Barnum, to his dad, to Jason, then back to his mom. He then looked back to his mother, eyes flashing with barely concealed rage.
"He called Jason a street rat. I was merely reminding him of what a rat really is."
Janet Drake smiled down at her son and nodded, while Jack looked back at Jason and tilted his head in question. Jason nodded shyly to confirm that this is what happened.
After the confirmation, it seemed as if the entire Drake family became a stone wall blocking Jason from the putrid man in front of them.
Janet pursed her lips, somehow managing to look down her nose at Burnam while being shorter than him.
"Is this true, Burnam?"
Burnam sputtered, his face turning impossibly more red.
"It's not like I'm wrong! Kids a gutter rat, shouldn't be mixing with people like us. We all know his mom was a druggie! And we all know how that is, runs in the blood! He's bound to end up just like her, useless and doped out by the time he's sixteen! Not to mention the diseases he probably carries from his time on those filthy streets, he's like a stray dog, probably riddles with fleas and pestilence!"
Janet hummed, felt her blood pressure rise beyond what she thought possible, and it worsened when she heard the heavy breathing coming from behind her. Jason appeared to be hyperventilating.
She knew how horrible people could be to those who were raised in less than favorable positions. She'd experienced it first-hand more than enough to last a lifetime, but to see it directed at a child, who had already been through so much at such a young age, sparked an anger in her so bright she felt as of it would burn her alive.
Or she would burn alive those who she directed it at.
She could tell her boys felt the same way. Tim was stiff as a board under her hand on his shoulder, and his breathing was nearly as bad as Jason's. Jack's body was poised like he was bracing for an impact, ready to attack.
"If I do remember correctly, Eli, your mother and father divorced after your mother found your father...ah...how did you put it...doped up? With another woman in his bed, and here you stand. Your hands are shaking, your face is hallow, and your teeth are the most horrendous shade of yellow I have ever had the displeasure of looking at. Perhaps it runs in your blood?"
Barnum's face dropped, paling at a rapid rate. The surrounding crowd was so silent you could hear a pin drop, and Janet's voice seemed to echo off the walls.
Then her son spoke up.
"Oh, right, it must be a familial connection, I'm sure of it, mother. It is his father's business that he inherited. It's the same business that is suspected of 67% of illegal opioid dealings in Gotham! Remember that, mother?"
Janet smiled cruelly, "Yes, Timothy, I do."
Jack clapped his hands with force, "Well then, we must have this man escorted off the premises immediately! How could someone such as him be around our children! What a terrible influence! Security!"
Burnam was dragged out kicking and screaming while a crowd of paparazzi surrounded him, and the Drake's looked down at him like he was little more than scum on the bottom of their shoes.
After all was said and done, Tim turned back to Jason, only to find he was taking to Bruce using wild hand gestures and looking about one breath away from a panic attack.
Then Jason looked up at caught Tim's eye, and smiled widely before dragging Bruce over to The Drake Family.
"Dad. Dad, these people are the coolest people I've ever seen in my life. That was the most insane thing I've ever witnessed. Oh my god."
Bruce smiled at the Drake's, and everyone could tell it was Bruce, not Brucie. They had found a secluded enough corner, and most of the attention was still on the paparazzi and the new gossip, so they were mostly safe from being heard.
"Thank you, for standing up for my son."
His smile was sincere, and Janet felt her heart melt just slightly, but didn't let it show on her face.
"It was stupid to leave him alone like that, Bruce, you know full well what these people are like."
Bruce nodded in agreement, "Yes, that was quite idiotic of me, I must admit, and I can assure you it will not happen again."
"Be sure that it doesn't" Janet snapped, before softening slightly.
Jason watched the conversation like a tennis match, head bouncing back and forth, before grinning up at Janet like she hung the moon.
"You are a total badass, Mrs. Drake."
At those words, Jack let out a loud chuckle, trying to stiffle it but failing, and Janet felt her lips quirk up.
"Jason, laguage!" Bruce admonished, but Jason didn't seem to hear him.
"And Tim! That was so cool, dude! How did you know about the whole drug thing? Even Bruce was shocked when he found out!"
Tim felt himself freeze up slightly. Batman was shocked about something he found out? He was totally going to freak out about that later. But not now. Robin is talking to him.
"It was really easy to put the pieces together after looking at the company stocks. There were too many suspicious transfers to unknown places, and after hacking a couple security cameras, I found out where he was spending his free time. Or, I guess how he was spending his free time."
Bruce raised an eyebrow at the young boy. "You hacked security cameras? Is that not illegal?"
Tim stared him head on, not backing down, ans Janet couldn't help but be proud of her little dragon.
"You've never done anything illegal, Mr. Wayne?" Tim's voice was sweet, his eyes wide and innocent, but the threat was loud and clear.
Bruce froze for a moment, and Jason's draw dropped to the floor. No way this kid new.
(The kid definitely knew.)
Jack shook his head, grabbing Tim by the shoulder and squeezing warningly.
"Sorry, we made the mistake of teaching him about blackmail, and he got a little obsessed. Timothy here probably has dirt on the entire high society at this point, and probably many more people that his mother and I are aware of."
Tim nodded in agreement.
Bruce took this in for a moment. "And you're both okay with this?"
Janet chucked slightly, "Truly, Bruce. I'd like to see you try and stop him."
Tim smiled something feral. "You can try, but I promise you'll fail."
Slowly, Bruce nodded, and Jason let out a laugh.
"Hey, Mrs. Drake, can you teach me that really scary glare you did at that man? In case there's someone else like him in the future?"
Janet looked down at the young man and felt incredibly fond. It was impossible not to, with his gaping smile and his boyish attitude.
She nodded, "Hm, yes, it's best you learn the art of intimidation sooner rather than later. However, for right now, if anyone acts even remotely the way Burnam did tonight, I want you to find Tim, who will find Jack and I, and we'll deal with it, sound good?"
Jason nodded quickly, while Jack looked down at his watch.
"Ah, darling, we should be getting home. It's nearly two in the morning!"
Janet nodded, and looked down at Tim, who looked sullen about the prospect of leaving but nodded nonetheless.
"Well then, it was an eventful night, but I cannot say I'm sad to see it come to an end."
Bruce chuckled at Janet's statement, humming, "No, I can't say I'm too disappointed either. Again, thank you all for tonight. Tim is welcome anytime at The Manor, I'm sure he would fit right in with my boys."
Jack nodded, "Thank you, and of course the same goes for Jason and your other young man, Dick, correct?"
Bruce nodded, "Yes, that's him. I'll see you all around"
Jack and Janet nodded, and Jason and Tim said goodbye to eachother, exchanging numbers and arguing about something, (all the adults heard was something about Wonder Woman and a toaster), before heading their separate ways.
The night all together didn't go as horribly as it could have.
Tim made a new friend, and Jack and Janet felt less worried because of it. They knew their son was odd, and although they loved him dearly, the knew not everyone felt the same amount of affection towards his more terrifying habits.
So all together, it was a success.
As Jack and Janet settled in for bed, they didn't hear their sons window open down the hall, or the sound of him exiting it.
Tim made sure to be absolutely silent, and as soon as he entered the city, he disappeared into the shadows completely.
He had some birdwatching to do, after all.
Fin.

i'm thinking about jason vs white streak and a helmet that doesn't cover his entire face, and the absolute missed comedy of the entirety of crime alley thinking that they are getting beaten up by a very old man.
Average crime alley guy: yeah and then he stopped wearing the full face cover and his hair is like white underneath it's so weird--
other guy: wait. like. white? Like. LIke old person white?
Average crime alley guy: oh my god. oh my goooood. he uses a voice modulator to hide that he's approximately 98 years old. mr hood sir do you need help crossing the street?
Jason, 19: ?????????????
jason then realizes the convenience of being able to take off the mask and no one realize it's him because they're looking for someone older than alfred and just goes along with it and tells increasingly made up stories about being young in the 40s while shooting peoples kneecaps out.

i think the rest of the bats probably forget that Tim actually has a full time job. like an important one. they probably text him all the time like ‘wanna help me with this case’ and Tim’s like ‘can’t sorry I’m in Germany for the next 3 days’ and then all the kids are talking for the next week like ‘wow Tim’s probably in some deep shit with this international case he’s working. can’t imagine what he’s dealing with rn’ and then the week after Tim’s at the manor for dinner and Dick’s like ‘so tell us all the gory details of the case in Germany!’ and Tim just looks at him lost.
‘what case’
‘the reason you had to go undercover in Germany and couldn’t join me and Jason’s stakeout!’
‘i never said i was undercover’
‘why the fuck else would you go to Germany?’
‘business convention’
‘…’
‘…i had to give a seminar- you guys know im a CEO right?’
‘well BRUCE never had to travel when HE ran the company-‘
‘BECAUSE BRUCE WAS SHIT AT HIS JOB THATS WHY A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD HAD TO TAKE OVER’
and Bruce is sat at the end of the table just slightly offended.

Childhood Friends AU: MariKim Headcanons
In which Kim and Marinette are absolutely, 100%, ride or die friends and you can fight me on this
Part 2        Masterlist
their parents are best friends (I have many head cannons about this here)
-so they grew up together
-Kim knows Marinette is the sweetest person in the whole world
-they both have pretty busy schedules with Kim doing every known sport and Marinette doing everything else
-so they don’t hang out as much as they used to, but their families still get together once a week
-their parents are SUPER close, so they see each other as extended family of sorts
-meaning it’s damn near impossible for someone else to change their opinions of each other. Marinette will never think of Kim as stupid and egotistical, Kim could never be convinced that Mari is cowardly and weak.
-growing up they spent most of their free time together. They went to the same schools and were in the same class until they were nine (I don’t know French school years so I’m just using ages for now)
-then bad luck hit and they were put in separate classes for a couple years
-but, it was the same school, so they still ate lunch together.
-it actually made them closer for a while, since they were in different classes they would meet up at the end of the day and give each other a play by play of everything that happened that day. They didn’t keep any secrets from each other
-(well, Marinette kept one about a certain rich blonde)
-when grades started to actually mean something, they began studying together
-either Marinette would go to Kim’s for dinner and to study (and play video games) or Kim would go to Marinettes
-Kim didn’t have dinner at home for a month once bc he didn’t feel like walking all the way to his house before he could eat when Marinette’s is right there
-when Marinette started getting into fashion she started by designing clothes for Kim, because his fashion sense was atrocious
-she was only six though so her designs weren’t that great either, but Kim would still try to make and wear all of them
-many blankets were sacrificed for his cause
-now, after many years of practice, all of his athletic clothes and sports uniforms are made by her.
-sometimes he’ll model outfits for her
-before she started crushing on Adrien, the only pictures of models she had up were those of Kim
-Kim has also spent some long Sundays acting as a clothing dummy
-Kim is the sole reason Marinette didn’t trip and die as a child. Even as a kid, Marinette had a tendency to get absorbed in thought and Kim’s quick reflexes stopped her from walking into traffic numerous times.
-one year Kim bought her a gymnastics mat to put at the foot of her staircase in case she falls down the stairs
-Kim’s really protective of Marinette, though he doesn’t express it, bc he’s not the best with communicating emotions.
-his one weakness is Chloe, she’s been his crush since he was eight years old, and was, though she’ll deny it, his first kiss.
-he’s shocked on the first day to see Chloe being mean to Marinette
-Chloe wasn’t like that when they were kids and Marinette never told him about her being mean so he’s confused
-His crush on Chloe starts shrinking that day, though it doesn’t go away completely until Dark Cupid
-Kim, despite his dumb jock stereotype, is pretty smart. He looks out for Marinette without seeming like he is
-and tho he doesn’t think he needs looking out for, Marinette looks after him too
-this mostly involves making sure he doesn’t forget things, which he does often
-Kim once came to class in his swimwear, but luckily Marinette had brought his sweats when he forgot them
-once a month Marinette sits down with Kim and makes a detailed schedule of the month for him
-he always makes her schedule in time for them to hang out
-Marinette keeps a copy of the schedule and goes to every single one of Kim’s home games for every sport he plays. She tries to make it to his away games and tournaments too, but sometimes they’re not in Paris and she can’t leave the city
-she also sits through some of his practices, though she usually does homework or works on her designs
-Kim doesn’t mind, it just makes him happy that she cares enough to be there
-He tries to get her to join a team so that he can go to her games and cheer for her like she does for him.
-she turns him down, but does start working out with him before class MWF.
-He’s disappointed, but happy to spend more time together, and jazzed about exercising together when he realizes how jacked Mari is
-he playfully pouts that she’s been working out without him
-he is genuinely sad that she doesn’t join a team tho, bc sometimes he feels like he doesn’t do as much for her as she does for him
-Mari supports in everything, even the stupid dares and bets he makes
-Kim asks if she thinks he can run to the Eiffel Tower faster than a car, she doesn’t hesitate to say ‘Absolutely’
-the entire class disagrees
“Marinette, don’t encourage him anymore!”
-Alix ends up challenging him to actually do it
-Marinette tells the class to meet at the front of the school at 4:30, right at the beginning of rush hour.
-Kim wins of course
-The only bets Marinette doesn’t throw all of her energy behind supporting Kim are the ones that are impossible or ones that would get other people hurt
-when one of these occurs Marinette just challenges Kim to a better challenge
“I bet if I get a trampoline I can jump to the moon!”
“People have already been to the moon, but I bet you can’t jump to the second floor in the courtyard”
-Kim gets caught up in the adrenaline of challenges and sometimes goes too far
-he uses Marinette as a bit of a judge to see when he going to far
-so he really wants to support her more
-Hes ecstatic when she runs for class president
-he loudly supports every plan she has
-when she eventually opens an online commission store, Kim tells literally everyone he knows
-he hands out business cards to members of rival sport teams and tells them to go fix their uniforms
-before she started making money off commissions Kim would sometimes buy her supplies with his allowance
-one time Kim was at her house playing video games with Tom while Marinette was making a dress and she panicked bc she was almost out of the thread she was using to embroider it
-Kim ran and got more in ten minutes flat
-from then on whenever he was over at her house he’d take inventory of her supplies and run to get more of whatever she was close to running out of
-her parents like for her to work at the bakery a few times a week, which is inconvient when she’s in the middle of a big commission or project
-so sometimes Kim will cover them for her.
-he steals a pair of buggy pink pajama pants Marinette has, though they’re tight on him, pulls on one of Toms old T-shirts, that is much too big for him, and a black rain coat. He clips two pieces of string to his hair and then heads to the bakery
“Hey dad! I’m here to help!”
“Uh, Kim? What are you…wearing?”
“Kim? No, I’m your daughter Marinette! Don’t you recognize me? See, I have ponytails and everything”
-Tom just sighs and puts him to work, but not before making him remove the fake ponytails
“Can’t risk them falling into the dough, thats a health violation.”
-Marinette always bakes Kim a shit ton of sweets when he does this, even though he always leaves with more pastries than he can carry.
-She vows to go to more of his practices bc she feels like she could do more for him
-they really love each other
-but, the class hasn’t realized how close they really are

Tim is panicking because he doesn't know what to give Kon for his birthday so he asks Cassie.
Cassie: (she is so done with their pathetic pining) Just get really close to his face, close your eyes and count to five. Trust me, that will make him very happy.
Tim has not been sleeping enough for the past few days so he does not question it. He doesn't really know how this would make Kon happy, but Cassie used to date him after all, so she must know what she is talking about. He would do anything to make his crush best friend happy anyways.
I think we all know how this ended up. (But Tim got a boyfriend out of it so "a win is a win"?)
bonus - at the birthday party:
Kon: *panicking because the guy who he has been in love with for years is suddenly very close and Rao he closed his eyes, does this mean he wants to ki-? No Kon get your head out of the gutter there is no way Tim likes you like that. But what else could he possibly intend to do and Kon would be a fool not to use this chance if Tim might actually like him too so he leans in and- OMG! He is kissing Tim. Best birthday ever. Best day ever. Probably best thing to evr happen in the whole history of this universe and Gahhjhdsk<sduhsd*

Bruce: who are you? A new crime lord?
Jason: *takes off his helmet*
Bruce: *squints suspiciously* a new crime lord who looks like a grown up version of my dead son?
Jason: *sighs in annoyance and forces a bright smile*

There were a lot of hypocrital things about Tim’s parents, as with most living beings. A lot of these things weren’t all that important and usually just came with out of touch rich folk, like the expensive of things and service expectations.
But one thing that really affected Tim was their opinions of material things.
His entire life growing up was filled with as ‘modern’ designs as they could find and all minimalistic. White walls, marble tiles and counters everywhere, abstract art that could be made by a two year old and most importantly, no clutter.
Except of course for all of their artefacts that just ‘didn’t count’.
Tim’s room was the same. He was allowed toys of course, but only ones that would assist his intelligence growth and hand eye coordination. If it didn’t benefit in him getting smarter and more productive quicker, it wasn’t allowed. It also had to be either white, grey or beige coloured.
Needles to say, when Tim saw his class mates with teddies and toys and all kinds of things, he was often left with a sense of imposter syndrome.
When he got his camera that went away for a while, at least until he was told he couldn’t actually print any out because they would shut he left in a box and take up space. The idea that they could be placed upon the fridge or walls just didn’t occur to them at all.
Then when he was eleven and well on his way to living a life only hearing about how smart he was for his age, he had to hide in a dumpster lest he be attacked by Two Face’s goons.
That’s where he found a teddy bear with a missing arm and gross stains all over it.
It was the beta things Tim had ever had. Despite the guck and gunk, it was soft and smooth and the most treasured thing he had touched since his camera.
He hid Watson, named after the most beloved partner to the smartest man alive, from his parents for years. He stitched up his arm, washed him three times, and stuffed a floral scented car smeller inside him.
Naturally after Watson came more, though it took him time to pluck the courage to do so.
Sabrina the white cat plush came into his home four months later, soon joined by Salam the black cat plush just a week later when he felt Sabrina was lonely.
It was never about anything more than the comfort at first, the joy of having something so innocent and childish that he never got to have, but as he got treated with kindness from friends at school and heroes and bats, it became a sort of rebellion.
By the time he lost his mother he had nineteen plushies and teddies hidden away under his bed.
When he lost his father and officially moved into the manner, he had twenty four.
When he moved out he decided he didn’t have to hide them anymore even though he knew full well that Dick had plushies and some of the others and no one cared. Something about it just felt so… personal. It wasn’t for anyone else.
So, when he gets his apartment that’s more like a penthouse, it’s easy for him to have a decoy office and a real one.
A real one that had half of its floor made up of a sunken lounge lined with soft carpet and filled to the brims and over with teddies.
It’s only logical for him to buy thirty six more to make it full after all.
He doesn’t tell anyone about them even though he had a list of all their names on the wall of the room, nor does he feel as if it’s some kind of age regression or something similar.
It’s just… a hobby that soothes some of his problems with his parents.
At least, nobody knew about it until he let his team come over and suddenly found a super boy plushies at his bedroom door.

the idea of Ash just... being able to hand any source of information Kukui needs but somehow just doesn't have a way to receive it, like redacted or exclusive scientific documents, is really funny to me. because like majority of the time its information on something Ash did or one of his many Pokémon. He gets sent copies both physically and electronically, so he just texts the PDF's to the professor after asking Kukui what's wrong after seeing the man's tenth sulking episode with a school day.
it's even funnier if you add the fact Kukui knows nothing of Ash's life besides the basics of what Delia told him and what he's seen so far. which it's like see a god walk amongst mortals because Ash is basically an uncensored library that doesn't care if it's being used as long as it or Ash is fed.

Bruce: Today I realised I'm old
Clark: What happened?
Bruce: I fell in the kitchen and instead of laughing, all my kids came running to see if I was ok
Clark:
Bruce: I saw fear in their eyes

a little bit of greenery makes for nice scenery
Green hues light, bright and deep
Vivid or dull, adds a spark to ur soul

vibes
Imo, nostalgia is the greatest word in the english language
Its all encompassing, comforting yet distressing - has so many aspects to it yet theyre all applicable
Ever want to just go back to how life used to be? But did u truly appreciate it when u had it? Does it even matter?
Thats what nostalgia is. It makes u happy, it makes you sad, it comforts you, it gives you hope, it frightens you, it disheartens you. Its simple, its complex. It makes things clear, it fogs things up. It is everything and nothing at once. It needs no words but even a dictionary does not possess enough words to explain it
focus on making moments like that
So in the future you can yearn for these moments yet again
