In the darkest moments, when tears stream down like silent rivers, and the weight of sorrow settles upon your chest, a profound ache emerges. The anguish swells within, with silent screams that pierce through the veil of night, stealing your breath and unraveling the depths of your wounded soul. In that hushed solitude, the pain becomes palpable, an unseen tempest raging beneath the surface. Nothing cuts deeper than the silent symphony of anguish that reverberates through the chambers of your heart, leaving a profound mark upon your very being.

Mother's Love Endures
In the depths of life's journey, our tale unfolds, Of a mother's love, courageous and bold. She stood strong, a single mother of four, Imperfect like us all, yet love did she pour.
She did her best through the ups and downs, Guiding us through life's overwhelming quest. Her love was fierce, her devotion profound.
As a boy, a mix of emotions arose: Love, fear, and at times, anger in disguise. But deep within, a flicker of understanding he could not possess, That her actions must be born from a love so true.
I recall the sacrifices, the toil she bore, Working ceaselessly, her body growing sore. The boys joked about the "Lou grind bone" we wish to possess, Inherited from her, the woman we were blessed.
We all carry scars, past traumas untold, Shaping us in ways that are yet to unfold. Though I may not know your entire story, I see the strength within you, a glimmer of glory.
In this vast tapestry of lives we're woven through, Mothers are chosen, not by me or you. But if granted a choice by the divine above, I'd still choose you, dear mother. Twenty-nine years ago, a spectacular decision was made, Your mother chose me…… So here's to you, my mother so dear.

“Slumber's Grace: A Poem for My Daughter”
In the hush of the night, as the stars softly gleam,
I hold you close, my precious, in this tender dream.
Your tiny form in my arms, pure and sweet,
A blessing from above, my heart's cherished feat.
As I rock you to sleep, in this peaceful embrace,
I marvel at the miracle, the beauty of your face.
Your innocent slumber, a sight to behold,
A testament to love, more valuable than gold.
Each breath you take, a gentle whisper in the air,
Filling my soul with gratitude, beyond compare.
I thank Jesus above for this heavenly gift,
A love so profound, my spirit it lifts.
Through the highs and the lows, the struggles we face,
Your presence brings solace, in every difficult space.
For in your sleeping visage, I find strength anew,
The hard times seem lighter, the skies a brighter hue.
Your tiny fingers curl, like petals in repose,
A symbol of promise, a future that grows.
I pray for your happiness, your dreams to take flight,
Guided by grace, bathed in God's eternal light.
So rest now, my darling, in this peaceful night's grace,
With every rocking motion, love I'll ever trace.
For in your tender slumber, I am truly blessed,
To witness the wonder of your spirit at rest.
And as the night unfolds, and stars twinkle above,
I'll hold you close, my treasure, enveloped in love.
For you, my precious daughter, are a joy that I keep,
Forever grateful, forever cherished, as I rock you to sleep.

In the Depths of Desolation: A Tale Unspoken
In the shadows of a desolate night,
A woman wanders, burdened by blight.
Within her womb, life stirs and grows,
But her heart's consumed by bitter throes.
She gazes upon a world so grim,
Its future tainted, prospects dim.
Her spirit tainted, consumed by hate,
She feels no love, only cruel fate.
A child unborn, unwanted and unknown,
In her depths, a sorrowful moan.
Her eyes, once filled with dreams and delight,
Now bear the weight of a starless night.
She whispers secrets to the wind's cruel breeze,
An unborn life tangled in her unease.
No love to give, no solace to share,
A choice made, shrouded in despair.
The heaviness within her soul expands,
As she relinquishes hope with trembling hands.
Her decision looms, a darkened crest,
A choice to spare the child, a bleak bequest.
Her heart, cold as stone, knows no reprieve,
As she weaves a web of grief and leave.
In this somber tale, darkness finds its kin,
As she surrenders her child to fate's cruel spin.
No glimmer of light shall grace this verse,
For the world she envisions, a haunting curse.
In silence she drifts, lost in the abyss,
A tragic tale sealed with one final kiss.
May empathy guide us, as this tale unwinds,
To embrace those lost in the darkest of minds.
For in understanding, perhaps we can find,
A glimmer of compassion, where hope's not confined.
