I honestly feel like nobody in lotr mentions how fucking weird Legolas is. He stays up pacing the floor and singing to himself in the dead of night. He deadass stares straight into the tree line in the absolute pitch black when no one else can see anything. He yells goodbye to a river he has heard about in songs. He's so strange and not one character mentions it AT ALL. I absolutely love him.

Well.. I did NOT expect this to happen at all..

A few weeks ago I read a LegolasxOFC fic that made my obsession with elves resurface. (thank you @entishramblings for writing some of the best fics I've ever read..)

Soooo.. I said to myself, "Hey, wasn't I obsessed with elvish and tengwar in highschool? That was cool, so why don't I go back to it again?"

Then it lead to a lot of scribbling and eventually looking into Sindarin for, you know, fun. And now...

IT IS CONSUMING ME...

Okay but what if I snap and write a full-fledged fic of Arthur becoming king in s1 and how it could have changed the entire course of the show.

Gosh I just love book Legolas. He's immortal. He's a teenager. Elrond picks him instead of Glorfindel because he's average and won't draw attention to the Fellowship. He's the comic relief guy and resident Little Shit, but he can also shoot a Nazgul out of the sky in the pitch black like a one-man elf anti-aircraft defense system. He wants everyone to know that he's, like, really old. He forgets the task at hand because he wants to look at trees. His greatest qualities are that he can become friends with anyone and his loyalty is unending. He shows up to Valinor a century late with Starbucks in hand and his dwarf bestie at his side. Iconic.

Hmm let me think..

I think the top of the list would be music, music is like food to my soul, I devour it.

Second I think is, learning, something, anything. It does not matter what it is that I learn as long as I learn enough to understand it.

Third; drawing. It just silences my mind, gives me a unique kind of peace.

Fourth reading. Especially well written emotionally wrecking stuff.

And for the last, helping people. Even if it is for something small, when I help someone it fills me with happiness..

Still like the idea of ghost Arthur haunting Merlin after Camlann.

Merlin: can't you just, I dunno, rest in peace, Arthur?

You know what gets me? The prophecy is that Merlin will help Arthur build a united kingdom where magic is free again. But at some point Merlin completely disregard the prophecy in favour of Arthur.

When Arthur finds out he's born of magic, Merlin reminds him magic is evil so that he may live without burden or ager.

When Mordred is dying, magic is evil because if we heal Mordred with magic he'll kill Arthur.

Magic and Albion are not part of the equation anymore. Arthur comes before anything else, even the prophecy itself
