Ned Leeds has a empty space in his mind, like a smudged pencil drawing. It's faceless and empty, yet somehow painfully familiar. He can't recognize the person hiding in his memories, but every day, he keeps thinking about him, hoping to put together a picture from the scattered memories. This becomes his mission and personal obsession.

Gradually, Ned realizes that his own memories aren't enough to find the identity. █████ ██████ - he needs information. Luckily, he knows who has plenty of it.

It's ironic, losing the same person, his closest friend and almost-soulmate, twice.

At first, █████ ██████ disappeared from everyone' memories, erased like an unnecessary file that was deleted from desktop, so that it didn't take up any space. There were too little traces of his presence left, faint and barely noticeable, yet they echoed in his chest with an unpleasant crackle. While some people forget easily, dark and growing holes remained in the minds of others in place of his presence that didn't go away no matter how hard they tried to ignore it.

Ned Leeds was one of those people who were most affected by this. He didn't know anything about █████ ██████. He didn't understand why his personality or his existence mattered to him at all, yet he couldn't stop thinking about him. Every day, he asked himself hundreds of unanswered questions.

Who was this █████ ██████? How was he connected to Ned? Why wasn't he there with him? Why had he had to be there? Why was he not there anymore, why was he not ---?

Then Ned Leeds discovers a way to begin remembering █████ ██████. He searches for any clues, any traces of his existence, clinging to the most insignificant details, which feel like an unpleasant déjà vu in his chest when he thinks about █████ ██████ too much.

In search of ghosts, he create his own █████ ██████ from fragments of memories, mixed together, not compatible with each other, and even destroying each other. The █████ ██████ created by Ned is not real, but it feels real. Maybe real █████ ██████ isn't real either (If he's real, why isn't he around? Why hasn't he returned as promised, why --)

Ned Leeds finds himself trapped in a world where a ghost, created from the remains of someone who might not exist outside his mind, has taken over. In the background, Oscorp Co. is taking advantage of the power vacuum left by Tony Stark's death. Spider-Man is fighting more and more enemies, almost spending the entire day doing so, as if his life outside the mask doesn't exist.

In the shadows, people are talking about a serum that could give someone abilities even greater than Captain America's. The sight of Spider-Man makes Ned Leeds's heart ache, and Ned finds himself thinking about █████ ██████ more than he should.

Norman Osborn appears to be a good man, but Ned is unsure. █████ ██████ is sure. Come on, Ned, didn't you want to find his █████ ██████ me? Just say yes.
