Tinys with springtails in tiny little enclosures like how human's keep spiders.

Tinys with spiders having the equivalent of cat people vs dog people discourse with web trapping spiders vs active hunting spiders like

A: "Web spiders are boring! All they do is sit in their web all day! You can't even teach them tricks!!"

B: "THATS THE POINT!! Why would I want a spider that jumps up on me when I get home?? Constantly begging for my food??? They're just so in your face!!"

Tinys taking care of a small mammal like a rat or mouse when its little and then it growing up to be bigger than them??? Seeing their giant friend interact with their rat it a way that just seems absolutely baffling? Like the equivalent of a hand held farm animal.

TINYS WHO BEFRIEND THE HUMAN HOUSEHOLD PET WHEN THEY'RE JUST A PUPPY/KITTEN??? Like doing it to be safe when the animal gets older but accidentally end up being the pets favorite person?? The human just confused why their pet keeps crying at the wall. Maybe they think their house is haunted.

Cats who treat tiny's like kittens??? GROOMING THEM??? Constantly trying to take them back to their bed because they're too little to be wandering around just yet.

Hunting dogs with 'soft mouths' carefully picking up a tiny instead of their ball, much to the horror of the tiny as well as the giant who just got handed something alive and squirming.

Dogs who hear the tinys getting food at night at sit there and beg until the tiny throws them something.

A borrower who realizes the dog listens to hand signals and is floored by this massive creature just being obedient to them

A parrot who keeps repeating stuff it can hear from borrowers in the walls, freaking out both the human and the tinys.

OR OR OR The human's pet guarding the tiny from another person (or them???) afraid someone's going to hurt the little person that gives them snacks??

Even more angsty?? A pet refusing to leave in a house fire, frantically scratching at the wall trying to get to the tiny ??? An absolutely insane first meeting idea...

Anyways. Sizey interactions with pets are super fun and I want more.

brought to you by my current flare, i’m thinking about chronic illness/disabilities in tandem with g/t

a pharmacist who discovers borrowers, then makes it their life mission to research and craft size-appropriate medicine for them. tiny tiny pills, carefully calculated doses. all the tinies in town know if they have health issues, they just gotta visit the pharmacy late at night

a borrower who lives in a workshop, spending their days carefully watching the humans craft, learning all they can. the borrower puts this to use by crafting and carving mobility aids and accessibility devices for their community

a tiny with such severe vertigo and nausea that they can’t be held by their giant - the motion and warmth makes them sicker. so the giant has a large cooling pillow set up for them, where they can rest undisturbed, perched right on the couch so they can watch movies all day together

borrowers with chronic pain, who can’t climb about the giant’s house like they used to. their borrower friends coming together to build some pulley elevators, clear out a spot in the kitchen walls so they don’t have to travel far for food. on days where even that is too much, their borrower friends bring them food and supplies

a fairy amputee, missing both wings. their community rallying around them - they’ll give them flights here and there, help them gather supplies they can’t reach. maybe one of their friends even makes them a glider, an accessibility device so they can fly with their friends

a giant with chronic fatigue, spending most of their time resting in bed. the tinies love them, and they’ll all pile on the pillow or the giant’s chest to keep them company on bad days

a borrower who does NOT talk to the giant, except for popping their head out the wall every morning to remind the giant to take their meds

a giant wearing gloves. tight leather gloves that accentuate their hands and every movement they make. the giant needing to stash you away for a second, so they slip you into said glove, right against their palm. pressed tight by the fabric, able to feel the giant’s pulse, every twitch of their fingers, every crease of the leather around you.

“There you are..” Whispers that still rumble your core as your trembling form is picked up by gentle, steady fingers— curling around you. Theres nothing but affection in the giants voice.

Giants with elegant, sleek hands and subtle clawed nails carefully plucking up a human between two fingers on their back and their thumb to their torso.

“Awh.. don’t tell me you’re afraid~? I’d never hurt someone as cute as you.”

A giants eyes clouded with affection, a distinctive blush on their features. Their eyes are half-open; focused solely on the tiny.

Giants being teasing when sleepy, gently cooing things like “Waking up a monster like me at this hour~? How brave.” or “Aww.. what will I ever do with you?” Their voice is more velvety, the gentle, sleepy rumble thats followed by soft giggles or a yawn. (even better if the giant has fangs)

Gentle giants that ask before kissing their tiny. Even if the tiny knows if they really wanted, anything the tiny said wouldn’t matter. The mutual respect and love.. throwing away the obvious power imbalances.. i love..

“Whats that look for? Sweetheart, im not going to eat you~! how could i ever do such a thing..”

Loving giants that pepper their tiny love in kisses— lips enveloping their torso and whatever else. The slight squirming of the tiny trying to get comfortable while so obviously giddy, and the giant pulling away as their love is either awe struck or sleepy now. (for girls, the tiny having maybe an accidental lipstick mark or two)

Looming over a tiny with a flirty smile, fawning over how cute they are— curling your hands around them or leaning in to scan their features.

Holding a tiny carefully— getting lost in the moment and beginning to massage their back, shoulders and arms with a thumb, patting their hair until they eventually have fallen asleep.

“You’re safe.” While holding a tiny so close, either comforting them from a memory or nightmare.

Giants kissing tinies on their tummy, its a vulnerable place that protects vital organs— so an abundance of trust would be needed. But goodness, would the gentle contact melt them..

Giants waking a tiny up, not bothering to fish them out of their comfort— instead picking them up, comforters, pillows and all.

Oh the irony of finally becoming a giant only to take a look at how far away the ground seems from your perspective and immediately feel sick with vertigo. You can’t stand it, but you’ve been wanting this for forever!

Or…

Oh the irony of finally becoming a tiny only to realize being picked up and carried causes you to get extremely motion sick. You hate it, but you’ve been daydreaming about it being the best thing ever!

giants having nightmares or panic attacks.

I'm sure a few posts have said this same exact thing before but I LOVE IT!!!

The tiny waking up to the giant stirring in their sleep, eyebrows knitted together as if they're upset or in pain. Watching someone so imposing, so terrifying be so vulnerable and afraid. It probably reminds the tiny that they're not so different after all, that they both have fears.

Bonus points if the giant wakes up panicking and all the tiny can do is let their giant hold them close to their chest. They can feel the heavy, almost frantic rise and fall of their chest, the quickened thumping of their heart.

because they can't really do much to protect the giant from whatever they're afraid of. Could be angst if you really think about the possible feeling of helplessness the tiny may have when seeing their friend like this.. But could also be really comforting...

i dunno... giants having intense nightmares or panicking so much they can barely breathe is peak..

tiny: the real scary thing here is that I am almost thirty, dude. I can’t just fling myself into another relationship, I need someone with stability. I want something long term, house and kids and all, and I don’t want to invest my time into someone who isn’t on the same page as me. we need to be clear about these things upfront.
