Most people are respectful of each other but there's way more antagonism towards Raoul and his fans than there is towards Erik and his fans. Erik fans make up the majority of this fandom. It's not even remotely equal and there's way more Raoul bashing than Erik bashing. Just because someone prefers one character doesn't mean they hate the other.

I’m happy that’s the side you’re seeing, because from what I’ve seen it’s constant bickering and shaming. I love both Raoul and Erik. I’ve personally seen more people bashing Erik, but I don’t doubt you. I have a preference as well and I don’t hate either character, I’m talking moreso to the people that I have seen who do fight each other.
