Oh you know what, I also hate people who can’t stand those who use the word “literally” when they don’t mean the dictionary definition “literally” or generally when people hate others for using words “wrong” when the word clearly has a modern day interpretation- i.e. saying “Don’t say you ‘stan’ something because stan means stalking and fan, blah blah blah [something about the origin], so basically what you’re saying is you’re a creepy stalker.” NO YOU IDIOT. I love being a psychology and sociology major bc it helps me be more patient and kind to humanity by understanding people and society but it also makes me impatient and hateful bc now I hate people who don’t understand other people.

i am so fucking sick of people trying to act like it’s ableist to acknowledge that disabled people Are Disabled. this whole movement has started around people saying “disabled people are just as capable as abled people” when the conversation that SHOULD be being had is “there is nothing wrong with needing accommodations that abled people don’t”

I swear this is not me being like “um ackshually 🤓☝️” BUT I love this post because the origins of psychotherapy actually came from exorcism and mesmerization (also animal magnetism).

(In fact Freud (psychodynamic therapy; a therapy we still use today) came after a generation of practitioners who believed in and practiced mesmerism and hypnosis. This explains why he had a lot of crazy ideas… or as an experimental psychologist had described to Meehl as “Freudian dream shit.”)

Oh actually, this is also one reason I love Nisio. He is extremely good at displaying different types of logic and comparing and contrasting them to each other. Very Ti-Ne kinda guy.

Usually when an author has characters with their own defined logic, it seems to carry quite a bit of bias form the author themself, and you can tell this author is just trying to push an idea onto the readers through this character’s logic. Nisio does a great job using multiple and even opposing logics to tell an overarching message. He actually lets logic be choose-able, if that makes sense, and it’s why his characters are so three dimensional. He is able to show the subjectivity of logic.

That’s what I mean by it makes complete sense that the first character I find I genuinely hate is written by NISIOISIN. You’ll find characters you completely identify with but you’ll also find characters you absolutely despise and disagree with.
