Some of my favorite anime protagonists

Note: NOT a ranking.

Senku Ishigami--While I find the fact that he always manages to come through with an invention frustrating, his kindness and goofiness more than makes up for the almost Gary Stu quality. (Watched the first two seasons)

Yusei Fudo--The show itself never really reached full potential imo, but Yusei's unique background and kindness as well as feeling both like a big brother and a little brother (at least around Jack, who felt more mature to me due to his luxurious come-up) made him really likeable for me. (Finished the anime)

Asta--I love the fact that Tabata managed to make a heasdstrong hot-head who wasn't a jerk and is actually very respectful of people and respects certain social constructs, ie showing reverence to nobility and religious figures, in contrast to his contemporaries. (Finished h the anime)

White Blood Cell (U-1146)--One can argue whether or not he's the main character or Red Blood Cell (AE3808), but I count him since we usually see him more. In any case, he's probably the most intense anime lead I've ever seen who's also just a super nice guy. (Finished the anime)

Oh, and praise to all their voice actors. I watch the English dubs, and they're amazing.
