A New ‘Lava’ Variant for our Rock Pools Map
Does this map look familiar? It’s a new ‘lava’ variant of our old Rock Pools battle map, which is much more idyllic than this burning caldera…

A small shrine. Maybe a good place for a tiny adventure or a place to get a rest? The pool will bestow a 24 hour boon to any good hero that drinks from it.
Roll a d6 for a result: 1) 1 extra hp, 2) may reroll one saving throw, 3) heals 1-3 hp, 4) cannot be surprised, 5) can wield a broad ax at +1 to hit/dmg, 6) has night vision.
A small room is hidden behind the south statue which is CR 30 to find (CR 20 for Lawful Good searchers).

Artificer but Better
Hey there! I’ve been working on a better version of the Artificer Class for D&D 5e. I know it’s just unearthed arcana, but it has so much potential that’s been wasted! So far, I’ve only gotten to the gunsmith subclass, but I’ll probably get around to alchemist….later……

Viking traveler’s amulet, based on the Lillbjärs picture stone. The back reads: “Unharmed Go Forth, Unharmed Return, Unharmed Back Home”, Frigga’s blessing to Odin, possibly from Vafþrúðnismál.

What’s behind door number 6?
In a hallway every 10 ft. For 80 ft. There are chunks of wall that flop down. DC 14 dex save to get past each one. If they fail they take 2d10 bludgeoning damage. After last flopper is actually a dead end around a corner. The next path is through an illusionary wall behind flopper 6.

Hidden Rocky Entrance
There are 7 large boulders in a large circle. They gotta get the stone door open hidden in one of the boulders open. They can search the rocks to see which one has the door on it, but as they do, the rocks start rolling in circles, switching positions.
It takes a concentration check DC7 to keep track of the rock with the door.
They can try to stop the rocks, but they have to pass a DC16 strength check, which will only stop 1. Stopping 1 rock will cause the next rock to come rolling into it forcing another strength check at disadvantage.
If they fail this check or get hit by a rock, they take 2d6 bludgeoning damage and get knocked prone.
If they get into the door rock, there seems to be a ladder down that they can climb down the ladder into a dirty 5ft cylindrical tunnel. At the bottom of the tunnel is a sign in dwarven that says: “Go back, I don't want to see you.”
