Happy Mother’s Day, Mom 💐

I don’t even know where to begin because you’ve done so much—for all of us. You’ve always been there when we needed you, strong and steady, with a heart full of love and hands that never stopped working.

You were the nurse who worked night shifts and juggled multiple jobs—not just to provide—but so you could be there during the day for every school play, field trip, and game. You rolled up your sleeves for every last-minute school project, even when we barely gave you any warning. You killed snakes in the yard (yes, real snakes!), baked giant homemade cakes the size of small cars in our garage, and dressed up like wild characters on horseback just to send us off with laughter and love.

You are tough, creative, compassionate, and full of grace. You painted beautiful portraits—especially the one of Jesus that still lives in my memory—and poured your life into caring for those you loved, including years of devotion to my stepdad in his time of greatest need.

Today, I’m so thankful that you now have your beautiful little ranch in Oklahoma, your garden, your peace, and Harry—who we adore and are so grateful for because he takes such good care of you.

You’ve always been the kind of mom we could come to with anything. Forgiving, kind, and full of wisdom. You’ve given so much of yourself to us, and I love you more than I could ever say.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. You are truly amazing, and I am endlessly thankful for you. 💖

Shut the front door!!

People always ask me, “Where do you get a large canvas like that?” I get mine at Lowes hardware store!
