Remembered the phrase "[someone] is turning in his grave", as a way of saying that someone who's now dead would so deeply disapprove of something that a living person is doing that their corpse would stir in unease.

Then I remembered an expression, "even a worm will turn", as a way of saying that no matter how downtrodden or lowly someone seems, they can nonetheless turn against their abusers and oppressors once they've had enough of it.

Then cross-contamination happened and the phrase "a worm is turning in his grave" emerged to me. I have no idea what that means.

folks, what if i told you i'm going to be playing in a new campaign O_O

this is my new oc Curio, a great gent who's as light as a raft and as silly as a clownfish. he's a prior resident to the local circus, and is looking to stay away from his past coworkers for good. he's got great style, and refuses to take off that lovely outfit! :) he can't wait to meet the new crew he's joining in this very recent change is his life.

guys i'll be real, this piece took me a little over 8 hours, and i'm so happy with the background (i usually do not enjoy them lmfao.)

thought i'd post these pieces of THREE different ocs drawn throughout college bc i'm still proud of different aspects of them. it's cool to look back at my major accomplishments through my digital work and see what i'm able to do now. beware i talk a lot lol

first off: Carver. yes, i took his name in my freshman year bc what trans person playing dnd doesn't do that. he's basically a kenku who has always dreamed of bigger work than copying others. he's almost got ideas, why can't he make them real?! yes, he's a wood carver. his name is based on both his inherited profession and it's a common grackle-ish sound in my mind.

basically bro found an ancient war between gods of truth and chaos, and decided to help out by keeping the chaos god in the necklace the truth god kept it in. so now he looks almost human, and can create his own objects! yay! he's turning purple??? boo! he can also change size rapidly, for funsies. beast of a man fr,, almost forgot but bro still speaks like a kenku, ah good times.

keep in mind he was made two-three years ago so be nice he's just silly :)

Bauble is another dnd oc from a campaign in sophomore year hosted by my roommate. he's a mime-clown and changeling. ironically bro literally doesn't shift into others, he's just chillin as himself. he went to clown school and graduated with a Bachelor's in miming. his patron is a leprechaun who lets him have magic if he can't speak. bro is a business man at heart and just wants to make kids happy

Cynwrig is from a little world of my own for a novel i keep dreaming of. most important info: silly man who lives in a greenhouse while working in it and at a library (of sorts). then BAM crazy magic shit. i'll go into it more one of these days probs

you'll tend to notice i'm super proportionally stylized in headshots, and less so in full bodies. just came to be naturally ig lol

‼️MIRACULOUS REDESIGNS‼️

I'm planning to do a BIG series of Kwami swaps (80 additional designs, plz wish me luck 🙏) but first I needed some basics of my design principles for each character and Kwami, so here are all the designs I'm working with::

To make the 80 designs more manageable, my plan is to work by the Miraculous first, for example I'll do all of the bee & all of the snake designs rather than all of Chloe & all of Luka's designs, that way I'm working in slightly smaller batches of designs & I can keep them unique enough from one another

P.S. I don't intend on doing anything with this in terms of a story or lore, or even full illustrations, it's just something I've wanted to do for a long time
