My deaf neighbor (15m) intentionally made the crap wagon he bought last summer with money he saved working at the grocery store as loud as possible because he is deaf so sitting in his car with bad suspension allows him to feel the vibrations of the vehicle which he clearly enjoys. His mom sent notes to everyone on the street apologizing for the sound and explaining the situation as well as telling us we can text her to get him to quiet down at any time. To date, not a single neighbor has complained [as far as I can tell].

Anyway, this post made me smile thinking of him, loud kids are good, especially this loud kid.

This is the 12 year old cat I adopted last week. She has a bad bite wound on her back left hip and needed to get some teeth extracted.

Despite her medical issues, she is the nicest, sweetest cat ever, she’s always chirping and purring and desperate for affection. Between her demeanor, her big green eyes, and her medical situation when I took her to the vet the first comment was, “oh! Just like Toothless” and then after an awkward pause she was like “from the kid’s movie how to train your dragon” and I had to find a non-awkward way to express that my issue was not one of lack of comprehension but rather disappointment in myself that I didn’t come up with it first.

Anyway, love the art. It made me think of my kitty immediately :) 🖤💚
