Summary:

Though he never wanted to be the one to train Tommy, he was grateful his little sun asked as it gave him an opportunity to strengthen his own muscles again. It was amazing how fast it came back as he sparred with his younger brother, remembering how it felt in the old days when he was crossing blades with the members of his sounder in preparation for the next big siege. He didn’t regret what he left behind, but he couldn’t help being nostalgic seeing the little signs of what he used to know in every swing of Tommy’s sword or each strengthening exercise they performed together. The sunlight glinted off Tommy’s golden hair, reminding Techno that the gold that was most precious to him was no longer jewelry but instead his baby brother. ~~~ Technoblade returns from his pilgrimage to find the sole remaining member of his family and for both their sakes he makes a choice to leave the nether for the safety of the overworld.

It seemed to pull his spine upward, roll his shoulders back, infuse him with a regalness beyond anything achieved by plastic up to this point in human history. His focus was sharper than it ever had been and he felt like his introverted nerd ego had puffed out considerably.
