Writing takes time and effort, lots of it. And sometimes the Muses are just not there and the words just don't come. But if the choice is between waiting for an update, sometimes for a long time, or having something that a bot to spat out after being fed by the works of hundreds other authors (without those authors agreeing to it), then it's an easy choice.

I will take time to write even one short story, but the words are mine, the plot is mine, the feelings are mine, and the pride of having done something is mine.

I will NOT use AI, for anything, not when I have a functional brain to think with, an imagination to invent with, hands to draw with, talented artists to ask for fanart if I can't draw them.

So to all the new (or not) artists and writers out there : use your brain, use your imagination, use your hands, ask fellow artists.

NOTICE: As more and more fanfic writers are using generative AI for their works (you uncreative dweebs), I hereby swear on everything I hold dear that I have not and will NEVER use generative AI in ANY of my written work. Everything I post will be organically and creatively my own.
