Summary:

Rookie detective Caitlyn Kiramman thought she understood the rules- follow the trail, uncover the truth, serve the law. But when a string of high-profile murders shakes the city's elite, each marked by a cryptic caling card riddle, the lines between right and wrong blur fast. Caitlyn manages to solve the puzzle and reach a victim before the killer strikes again. And for one brief moment, she believes she succeeds- only to find a woman already standing over the corpse.

Vi, a volatile enigma with a rap sheet to match, flees the scene. But later that night, she's waiting in Caitlyn's apartment-not to finish the job, but to ask for help. Vi claims she knows who the real murderer is... and that she's not trying to stop them out of mercy, but revenge.

Hope you enjoy reading this short story. I wanted to write a little Lightcannon as ghost hunters story. I had the idea a few months back when I was watching Dandadan. It's complete, btw.
