Hey I saw other people do this so here goes: I haven't been a part of TJLC for very long - I wanted to get into it for ages but it all looked so daunting and I figured I could never read all that meta etc but then I found Rebs and her yt series and I just wanted to tell xer how much I appreciate it. It made tjlc accessible to me, and it was just wonderful to see xer bravery and conviction. Despite what's happened, they can't take that away from us. You're wonderful Rebekah; a national treasure.

the TFP self-care kit - a tjlc positivity project

as suggested by this anon, i’m going to be making a list of self-care and positive resources to help everyone, who feels down as a result of the final problem!

please send us any suggestions that you have! it can be your favourite fic or art, it can be fic or art that you’ve created, a playlist you’ve made, a song that makes you feel better, anything at all that comes to mind! i will be combining them and releasing them on a weekly (if content allows) basis! with a cute graphic attached!

a few notes:

when sending your entries, please put an asterisk in the beginning of the message so i don’t post it with the other asks

please tell me if you’re okay for me to quote you on the list - i’m thinking a buzzfeed-article-type thing with the list containing short quotes from people on how this particular thing helps them feel better 

please explain how exactly this thing helps you with the emotions caused by tfp, it doesn’t have to be overly johnlock related or anything, but because this is the common theme we need to try and make them all work together if that makes sense?

if content/my schedule doesn’t allow it i might be pressed for posting every week but i’ll do my very best

i want to say that im rly proud of all of us right now, even though many are feeling so rightfully upset and mourning, that we are actively working to say that this isnt ok and to send a message to future creators and to the bbc. im proud of us all for using this to make things better for those who will come after us, and want to ask everyone to keep it up and keep your heads up- someday the true story may be told! and it may be one of those among us now who does so 💜

I got to redraw this old thing, which is perhaps my favourite comic I’ve ever done, for the Portsmouth Conan Doyle Collection! It will be featured from the 21st of April in a new case about the history of fandom designed by Kate Brombley. Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity! The collection is home to the Richard Lancelyn Green bequest, and Green is pretty much my all-time-one-and-only favourite scholar, so I’m thrilled to have a piece there. You can also get this comic as a print!
