Fruits Basket x MHA

I haven’t drawn a full illustration of these boys since 2018, but I’ve been drawing them a lot I reels and animatics, so I wanted to do a little drawing of them. I kinda wanna do at least one more crossover piece before the month ends, but we’ll see if I’m able to! Anyway, I wanted to draw these Shonen boys into the Shoujo world, and what better show to do that with than Fruits Basket! Enjoy!

Just BARELY made it for Monday (technically it’s still Monday where I am). Prompt is Crossover! Fruits Basket and Cinderella for obvious reasons. Kinda tried to imitate the Disney art style, but I’m not sure how well it went.

Okay, first week of Fruits Basket Mondays! The prompt was Missing Scene, but I had a different interpretation of what Missing Scene could mean, so this is maybe both prompt and no prompt. I decided to do a redraw (sort of) of a panel from the manga - chapter 110- that didn’t get animated in the anime. I loved this scene when I read it, so much so because yuki had some amazing reactions. I’m posting my reference panels as well!

What are Fruits Basket Mondays?

Fruits Basket Mondays is a Fruits Basket fandom event taking place this summer!

How did this come to be?

Back when the 2019 anime was airing, episodes were released on Mondays in the US and the Fruits Basket fandom. This year’s event came to be through a conversation between the two mods & others on the Fruits Basket Discord!

Why host a fandom event now?

Since the Fruits Basket fandom is not as active as it was during the 2019 anime run, but several fans are still making content or even discovering the series for the first time, our hope is to bring the fandom together and bring more people into the fandom by showcasing fanworks that are created this summer.

Who can participate?

Anyone age 13 and up with a Tumblr or AO3 account can participate! Since some participants will be under 18, please make sure any adult content is below a cut on Tumblr, and properly rated and tagged according to AO3’s Terms of Service.

Why 13 and up?

This is the minimum age to use both AO3 and Tumblr.

How do I participate?

To participate, just post & reblog Fruits Basket content on Mondays this summer!

Which platforms can we use?

You can use any platforms, but we’ll only have an official presence on Tumblr and AO3.

Is this a fic event?

From our survey results, it seems like most participants will be sharing fanfic. However, all types of fan content is allowed! Fanart, analysis, memes, you name it!
