That's very true, and I have thought about it! I have the basic version of my chicken pattern up for free on ig, but I've been considering making a downloadable pdf of my doc I keep track of my color variants on. I really should lol it's one of those things I keep forgetting to do, whoops

Hi I'm back and I've been rethinking my approach to selling crochet lately cause like ............. my thing is that I have artist brain and if I don't just make things that I Want To I'll die. Uhm and I get bored and stressed and burned out really easily. So the approach of like, making batches of the same things and selling them like Products I keep Stock of hasn't been Sparking Joy. Plus for whatever reason they sell better as commissions anyway ? Even if they're the same things being requested. But I digress

I've been thinking it might work better for me to treat it more like Art where I just do what I want, sometimes selling one of a kind pieces, plus taking commissions. Because the thing is that it *is* art! I'm making my little things by hand and I need to not squeeze the joy out of it by expecting myself to be a one-person factory

would tiny crochet ducks be a similar pattern to the chickens or would you have to find a new pattern for em?

Wellllll, I *could* make them look sort of like ducks just by changing yarn colors, but if I wanted to make them more Duck Shaped the pattern would have to be changed
