For people out of the loop, Boi-slime, Delicate, and I were joking about our shortest characters making a squad. I love the idea so much that I decided to make a bunch of doodles of them. Be prepared to get nothing but this for the next week and a half.

Okay so no animation this time I decided to make a short webcomic series! What do Golden Freddy and Donnie have planned for the Grayscale turtles? This question is rhetorical.

Finally got the turtles’ lineup done :D

Next up will probably be info cards, then the parents.

A little background infodump from discord that i might as well put here.

So it all started in 2026 when the world was at war. And in the middle of that war there was a series of mutagen bombs that went off. Causing like 90% of all life on earth to mutate. Obviously there was a lot of chaos and confusion at first but after a few decades people got used to it.

Then we fast forward over 1,000 years later to the start of the main story with Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki. Saki was yoshi’s student, assigned to him by saki’s father, the leader of the Foot Clan. Over time saki and yoshi got to know each other and became semi friends. Until one day when saki told yoshi about his plan to take his father’s place as leader of the foot. He would poison his father and blame it on his older sister karai.

Of course yoshi tried to stop him, but he was too late. Saki knocked him out and used him as an experiment to study the mutagen. In fear of what yoshi might have told them about the plan, saki went after his wife and son. Fortunately though, they got away and managed to flee new york.

After yoshi finished mutating a few weeks later, he was rightfully enraged with everything saki did and set the lab he was in on fire. But before he escaped, he found two baby mutant turtles (also part of saki’s experiments) and took them with him.

They traveled for about a year or so before making it to Sewer Town and meeting local junkyard owner Baxter Stockman, who got yoshi in contact with a pirate mutant named Eleina Leopard. While meeting her, he also reunited with his wife Shen and his son Donatello, who had at some point gotten mutated into turtle.

And after the fire, Saki met and hired Dr. Cornelius Quease, an expert on mutations, who helped Saki stablize/finalize his mutagen. This resulted in many recognizable mutants being created, like Bebop, Rocksteady, Tigerclaw, etc, as well as saki’s daughter Sakura.

An updated explanation of TMNT Greyscale

Setting & History:

The main story is set in the year 3146. It’s been over a thousand years since an all-out war. Nature is healing. Human society is getting better. Not quite to the point it was before, though. And due to a series of mutagen bombs across the globe, mutants have become commonplace.

Magic, as well as many mythical creatures, have also made an appearance. Dragons, vampires, werewolves, yokai, etc. They’re all there. And yes, even the cryptids.
