The family

(The surnames are non-existent, something I tried to make sure. Radajevna is his mother's maiden name. And the second image is based on what actually happened to my parents irl)

If Val still abuses Vox like stated in the old lore, would he and Angel be able to relate? 

Tw: discussions of abuse

If you weren’t back in the early days of the fandom, back then we barely knew anything about Vox. All we knew was a few limited and obvious things like he was an entertainment overlord and one of the three Vees. 

However, one of the things we later learned about him in a livestream is that him and Val are in some sort of relationship and that Val is obviously abusive towards him. 

This was a part of the old lore and while I’m sure Val can get violent from time to time, it seems from episode two that this new idea of Vox has a lot of control over Val’s anger and wouldn’t really allow him to crack or break his screen.

But back then we didn’t know this. Remember when we thought Val would be the leader of the Vees? 

Considering that we also still thought the Voxtagram stories a were canon and Val is shown to break Vox’s screen often, we had a very different interpretation of him.

And with the popularity of amazing fan song ‘eyes on me’ from paranoid dj that also shows their relationship as abusive at the end of the video, this was all we thought their relationship would be like. (Ok but honestly eyes on me is amazing I listen to it like every week) 

Now, how did this relate to angeldust? 

We knew a lot more about Angeldust because he is part of the main cast, and when addict released the show was making it very obvious that Val was his boss, abuser, and that hurts and affects him daily.

When the show released we get a sneak peak of how manipulative Val is in episode 2 when he convinces Angel to come to the studio, but it is the worst in the infamous episode.

This episode’s entire theme is about Val and just how horrible he treats Angel and has no regards for his feelings, body, or well being.

I could go into more detail on just how bad Val is to Angel, but that’s a sensitive topic that’s been discussed to death already.

But as we see at the end of ‘poison,’ Vox gives Angel a look that I can only describe as smug jealousy. 

Which Vox, I love you, but that is disgusting.

In this frame it’s shown to us that Vox is jealous of Angel because Val focuses a lot of his time on Angel and not him, but… Angel is literally getting raped without his consent? 

Vox may be Val’s on and off boyfriend, but he’s very aware of what Val does to his employees, especially Angel. It’s part of why he works with him.

But comparing someone who youre partly letting get abused in your workplace by you’re friend and work partner to jealously because they are getting abused and beat by that person daily to be jealous of because Angel spends more time with Val than he gets to? 

I’m sorry Vox, but that sickens me to an extreme level.

Of course I could just be reading to far into that one frame, but in the context of the show Vox is an egotistical overlord who is already shown to not care for his own employees. So why would he care about what Val does to his?… except when they are the source of his anger and time.

Now, theoretically, let’s say that in the new lore Val is still abusive to Vox at times. Ignoring how close they were in the finale song in episode 8. 

Val is poison to everyone around him, even the people he’s the closest to.

Would Vox and Angel be able to bond over this? I say no.

Angel is a sinner, which is on the lower part of the class system in hell. It’s normalized that someone like him can be treated however it applies to a contract they signed.

There’s no sympathy for him by others except when they care for him and what it makes Angel do to himself (Husk) or when they know just what goes down in that studio (Charlie) 

But I highly doubt Angel and Vox are any sense of close.

Vox mainly works on his floor, and Angel works in the studio. They obviously have met and vox still has that.. *ew* resentment to Angel, but that’s really it.

Now, vox on the other hand, is a powerful level who is on the same level, if not more powerful that Valentino because he’s the leader of the Vees. 

Even if Val abuses him sometimes, he’s probably… into that. 

Look at that waist and tell me that man isn’t a bottom, you get the point.

Val and Vox’s story hasn’t been told to us yet, but by using background information like a old picture of them from presumably the 70’s and how close they seem, I theorize they met a little after Val died and teamed up to become more powerful. They were a little attracted to one another, but it never did and still isn’t official, even if they look and act gay as hell. (Heh) 

So Vox is on the same level as Val and has been close to him for 50+ years. They’ve had plenty of good moments, even if they are both awful people.

Oh yeah, let’s talk about that.

Since Vox is also on the same level as Val, he still is a awful person as well see in episode 2,4, and 8. (His appearances) 

Even if he Dosent sexually assault his employees, he still treats them horribly, as does Velvette. I assume this is common practice for overlords to treat their souls poorly, but it’s still not a good practice. I feel bad for the fish guy who had to make angelic security on the spot, he looks as stressed as me.

He hypnotizes people into trusting him and buying his technology, which is just evil businessman behavior. Someone said he reminds them of lord business from the LEGO movie, and I see it.

He is also very petty towards Alastor in almost every way, immediately trying to brainwash his audience to not listen to him.

I’m not saying being petty is a sign of being a awful person, but for Vox it contributes.

There’s the… look in episode 4, which I’ve already discussed, but it’s important to note that Vox is in Val’s studio DURING Val shooting and mistreating his stars.

If he regularly does this is then he is more than aware of what Val does to his employees and only gives them disgusted stares back. Like all he sees in them is what Val sees, useless whores for content.

Which is obviously not good lmao

And then in episode 8 (and partly episode 6 if you look into it) 

Vox is shown to have spying technology all over the city which is how he regulates his users behavior. He uses this tech to spy on alastor and the others and make fun of them like he’s watching football. 

At the end of the episode, we see him happily dancing with Valentino and Tounge kissing him, showing us even more that they’re in love in their own sick twisted evil way.

Angel on the other hand, is shown to be better. 

He’s in a hotel for redemption and throughout the season we see him slowly kicking his old habits like self destruction, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, distancing himself, etc. 

(With the help of Husky ofc huskerdust for life) 

And by the end of the season we see Angel being a lot more genuine to the others in the hotel and I only imagine he gets better once they find out it’s possible to be redeemed.

Vox is not shown to want to be morally better in the slightest, if not worse. 

He wants to one up Alastor, he wants to take over hell with the other Vees, and he will do it however he wants because he’s a cartoon supervillain. 

I’m not going to touch on what I Think of Val and Vox as a ship in this but what I will say is that Vox is a cartoon supervillain, doing things that even though horrible in the universe are just seen as goofy to us viewers.

Val on the other hand is scarily realistic, a abuser who manipulates his victims and forces them to have sex for his own benefits. I think that’s the main thing that sets me off for them, even if they are evilly perfect for each other. (So I’m gonna steal vox from Val) 

Vox is in a much different position with Val than Angel is, equal to if not above him while Angel is very below him. We see Angel stand up to him in episode 6, but I just know he was beaten the hell out of the next day and broken even further.

Vox would belittle him, so the only way I see the two even talking genuinely is if Angel starts it.

This isn’t like Angel and Husk, where they’re both washed up losers who are going through situations similar enough to bond, there’s an extreme power imbalance that wouldn’t make it as meaningful as Angel and husk’s talk.

There’s an amazing comic, I’ll add it below, but it’s actually what got me thinking about this topic.

If Vox comes out with his screen cracked after Angel was also hurt just to yell at the other becuase he’s ruining their image, then I see this potentially working.

They could share a sweet line like Angel showing concern for Vox’s cracked screen considering that’s his face and it must feel like having you’re skull cracked open. Angel has probably been driven to that level before.

However I have this one image in my head.

If Vox and Angel are both slightly talking and then they both say, “Val can be… rough.” 

I think that perfectly shows how different the two’s situations are with him.

Vox would say it all horny with a tint of love to his voice, while Angel would say it actually despaired and quiet. They see Val’s actions differently because they are affected differently by it.

Vox isn’t scared of Val because he is on the same level as him, and I think that’s the main reason to why they wouldn’t kconnect.

Besides, both Vox and Angel are either too egotistical or have too many walls up to have a legit conversation about Val without knowing each other at all.

If anything Vox is only a contribute to why Val focuses on Angel so much, their relationship is toxic af and we see in ep 2 that Val likes to get a reaction out of Vox. It’s sick and twisted but I wouldn’t put it against him to do something like that.

So, in conclusion I don’t think Angel and Vox would be able to relate to each other because their situations and relationships with Val are so different, even if Val lets it out on Vox time to time his main target is Angel. Angel gets hurt almost every day and I’d say Vox only gets hurt every couple months on a really bad day.

We know a lot of the lore has changed since the pilot and the Voxtahram stories most of these claims come from arent even canon, so I probably just ranted about nothing.

"Seriously Palette? Just tell me, what's up with you!" Goth yelled.

"Nothing, ALRIGHT? Just left me alone. I am busy!" Palette yelled back as he keep on walking away from Goth.

"Wait up! Please, Palette. Why are you acting like this?!" Goth continue to provoke Palette and follow wherever he go.

Palette always know that Goth is genuine but her ego and pride made him wanting to stay away. He don't want to get hurt again.

Drop is making a drink for Palette. He woke up from a nightmare so Drop decided a warm hot chocolate can help him.

Palette slightly nodded. He sighed and holding the mug. His hands are trembling.

"Hey, hey... Calm down, you're awake from the nightmares." She patted Palette back. "Do you want a hug?" she asked.

Something happened in the last timelines, Drop can guessed it. 

Deja Vu (Drop)

"PALETTE NO!" Drop screamed in terror.

She woke up from a nightmare again. This time, Palette was killed by Merciless.

She took a deep breath and look around her. It's a room, her room.

"Again..." She sighed trying not to cry but she can't. It hurts to dream about your love one dying again and again.

"Drop, are you alright?" Dream knocks on her door. "Can I come in?" his voice sounds very concerned.

Drop didn't answer but it's actually a sign for 'Yes'

Dream came in and sat next to her bed.

"Are you having a bad dream, sweetheart?" he ask.

"Yeah..." Drop sniffle into tears and hug Dream to find comfort. "It's all the same, Papa..."

White sheep [Merciless Angst]

Merciless just turned 11 this year. That's right, he gained weight a little and Killer was so happy. 

Today is his birthday, he hopes for his mother to spend time with him like always. Merciless just finished dressing up himself, Lux bought him new clothes to wear since he can't always wear that torn out shirt. 

Merciless quietly walks to the castle hall. The servants are whispering as they are badmouthing him. 

"He's still alive.."

"Yeah because Mistress Killer love him so much.."

"If he died sooner, we wouldn't have to suffer."

Merciless pretending not to hear anything. It's the same... The servants mistreated him for being the white sheep of the family. He can't complain, he admitted it that he is one. He look nothing like Nightmare and he look nothing like Killer.

Killer explained that he got his genetic from his dead uncle, Papyrus but Merciless don't really believe it. 

As Merciless walks, a servant intentionally trip Merciless and stepped on his hand. 

"Whoops, my bad... Useless prince." Said the servant as they rolled their eyes. 

Merciless don't need to cry. It's the same as usual. He were mistreated by his father and his mother are stressed about it. He don't want Killer to cry if she ever finds out that Merciless were mistreated by the servants too. 

"It's alright... It's just an accident." Merciless forgave the servant. He quickly gets up and ran away. He don't want to be there any longer, he can't. If he did, he'll cry.

" Merci must miss me alot, "

She walked away leaving Palette alone. It took a minute for him to calm himself down.

Just a question, bruh. Do you remember GameMaster? If so, how is them?

Gamemaster isn't a full person, it is/was a title. Dream and Classic were "Gamemasters", given the code names " The Smile" and "The Showbizz"

However, due to Dream being pretty much out of the group at the moment and the games starting to run thin and boring, it's basically dropped, if games do come back up, then Classic may not be Showbizz again, as he wants to not deal with those types of games anymore and acting as Showbizz tires him a bit. He still has the outfit though, I don't think that outfit will ever be gotten rid of.

BUT, to answer your question:

Classic is fine(if that's who you were referring to), he's been relaxing and having a good time.

What's Drake's old lore like?

To sum it up, he was kidnapped by these ancient beings who did experiments on him, he broke out and escaped into the woods, years later a young wolf girl found him and brought him back to his daughter and she helped him to not kill people because bro was killing people in the woods. The wolf girl belonged to someone who I cut contacts with, so after that, I just rebooted his lore to have less 13-year-old cringe written all over it, lol. I've had Drake ever since I was 13 and that's also when I created his old lore. This Oc, he's been around for almost 7 years now

Update about the Varus comic!

Hey all long time no see, did you know that I haven't abandoned this? (I have been improving in art so in a way it's lucky I didn't make it earlier as it would have looked worse). I've had a really bad time irl and a lot of obligations, which simply blocked me from creating as much as I have wished.

I'm supposed to work on my Viktor comic Becoming the Herald, to which I have already published several parts, and my Targon comic which I develop one page at a time. Targon has a really big story with lots of characters and worldbuilding. I also have my original comic Exper-elemental which is also on a break...

My own dissatisfaction with my art skill put medium brakes on the old lore Varus comic, but I still have a mighty need to make it! I'm sorry I wasn't able to publish more stuff for it yet. But, if anyone wants to help me, I'm always happy to discuss! It would be one page per two weeks I think.

In the meantime, I am sharing with you the video my friend had made back when Varus's lore got retconned. I hope there are still fans of the old story

Hello! Hope you're enjoying your day! I've been trying to find every (or at least the major) Viktor lore update/change. I know the original from 2011 and the now but I've been trying to find the original Viktor side to the story of Jayce's lore. The 'Viktor steals crystal and Jayce smashes things'. Cause both Jayce and Viktor current lore say Viktor said 'kill him' but that's not present in Jayce original lore. So I was wondering if you knew where to find or what was Viktor side of the story at the time.

There never was Viktor's side of the story when Jayce got released. Champions received a story for themselves, and didn't have dual-releases or dual-lore updates. What exists is:

Viktor's original lore

Jayce's alpha lore which quickly got changed after community dislike. It turned into Jayce's old lore

(The Jayce alpha lore simply said Viktor instantly stole Jayce's invention and cowardly fled when Jayce appeared to take it back. The playerbase correctly noticed this was very inconsistent with Viktor's characterization, after which Riot admitted they didn't pay much attention while writing. Jayce's lore was changed to have Viktor ask for collaboration due to Jayce being in the possession of a rare power source, then stealing it in desperation, then a fight being a draw but Jayce destroying the crystal.)

(Which I'm pretty sure had stealth edits done to them, but the wiki changed its structure and I cannot find all the versions now. What I know for sure is that Blitzcrank's new Universe lore had been significantly stealth-edited which introduced even more illogical facts but changed Blitzcrank from having a he/him pronouns to they/them, as if a robot choosing to use male pronouns isn't a progressive look on the function of pronouns as something not tied to some "physical objective truth")

And now there's Arcane lore, which is well-known to everybody now.

I'll probably return to this post to update it if I find some useful details such as the pre-ghost-edits versions and stuff.

i don't really like when people say dungeon meshi is accidentally good autistic representation, because while i understand not wanting to make conclusions without explicit confirmation from the author, there's always the weird assumption that non-western authors somehow don't know about things like neurodivergency/queerness/etc. (on top of the assumptions that east asian authors are somehow more naive or oblivious to "western" social issues).

given that dungeon meshi started being published in 2014, it's not really a "work belonging to its times"—it's as contemporary as any other media we discuss on this site, which means it should be fair to assume it engages with contemporary topics (and at the very least, you shouldn't say that the representation is accidental with so much confidence)

but anyways, the chapter "perfect communication" in ryoko kui's "terrarium in a drawer" is some of the most straightforward autistic representation I've seen, and from now on I'm going to assume that laios's character writing is absolutely intentional in that regard:

Edit: Moonshine is a female Sylveon, who is married to the male Umbreon Alabaster, 

Azura, Inari, Destiny, and Carrie are their daughters, Azura and Inari are twins that were both born on a Christmas day, Azura can change colors at will-Moonshine should have inherited that gene, but she didn't-it skipped a generation.

Inari and Azura are both Vaporeon, Destiny is an Espeon, Carrie is a Flareon.

Azura is a retired model who sometimes makes special appearances now and again, living in one of the designated family rooms at Lola's hotel. She could be described as a bit vain, loves cameras, but is still a great mother and sister to her siblings and daughters.

Inari loves to bake and is the head chef at Lola's hotel- Lola's OC Oasis.

Destiny is an early bird, and a huge nerd, if you insult something she likes, you'd better be prepared for a fight. She's often headstrong and hotheaded, which makes not invoking her rage 10x harder!

Carrie is a welder who makes glass trinkets to sell at the Oasis's gift shop, binge watching MLP friendship is magic on her spare time. Don't give her chocolate though, it drives her Noibatty! 

Azura is married to Leonardo, or Leo for short-a Zorua among Zoruas-he was a shapeshifting prodigy, and he passed his ability onto Lola-my main Umbreon OC. Leo proposed to Azura during an eclipse, while she was still an Eevee who drempt of oceans, rivers, and lakes, becoming the Vaporeon she is today.

Leo was Cyllage city's local sheriff until he disappeared, only to return a few months later with no recollection of where he went during his time away from his family. He's back now as the sheriff, and sometimes helps Alabaster out with guard duty at Lola's hotel.

Moonshine and Alabaster also had three sons: Sparx the Jolteon, Napalm the Leafeon, and Flurry the Glaceon

Azura's not the only one to change colors-all of her siblings can!

All of them can even change patterns if they so wish!

Sparx came from the Mystery dungeon side of the Pokeworld. He was leader of an elite rescue team, but when Lola asked him to come and help with the hotel, well, he came run'n! Sparx is a playful prankster, often getting into prank wars with Leo and Scarlet-harmless ones, he'd never purposely hurt someone.

A portal to the mystery dungeon world was found deep in the woods a long time ago, and he was the first one to step into it. He founded a rescue team while there, often coming back and forth to see family.

He's still able to run his old rescue team, helping out with guard duty when able.

Portals to other realms have been found as well, so many creatures and people come through the area on a daily basis-there's never a dull moment at the Oasis!

Napalm is a calm therapy mon at the local hospital-that also has a regular doctors office inside, his trainer is a surgeon there, and she loves him to bits, putting a soft bed by the window in her office under a heat lamp just for him.

The windows don't get that cold even in the dead of Winter, and even if they did, the heat lamp is pretty strong!

He also has a quiet place outside under a tree in one of the courtyards where he can preform photosynthesis and recharge should he need to.

If anyone gets hurt at the hotel and there's no doctors on duty, he has the training to be able to heal people, Pokemon and other creatures, his aromatherapy shop in the hotel has a quiet little area in back in which to treat patents.

He doesn't battle and a good chunk of his moves are healing and other support moves.

Flurry is a quiet, VERY introverted and shy bookworm, he runs the library at the Oasis, he's happiest in his room with his nose buried deep in one of his books, quietly sitting behind the library desk, helping others find books and other media, and shelving media.

He appears cold, but he's actually very warm, especially to those he's comfortable around.

Lola is my main OC, an Umbreon, she can shape shift and color shift, just not when she's sleeping or knocked out.

Her home used to be a small tree in the middle of the forest in Cyllage city, but she has since turned it into quite a sizable hotel-with help of course, taking in people, Pokemon and other creatures alike.

Lola is able to read, speak, and understand human perfectly.

(Leo may or may not have been related to a certain Zorark from Unova, who's trainer has a name with only one letter, and green hair, N.)

She has the ability to swim underwater for as long as she wants, borrowing underwater breathing from her mother, Azura- he paws are even webbed!

Lola prefers shallow, freshwater to deep, saltwater, brine included, as she can see better if and when she opens her eyes underwater, as they don't have the protection a Water type would.

She hates loud noises, especially sudden ones, tending to shy away from them, particularly thunder, so she stays clear of Sparx when he starts training/battling.

She also stays clear of Bug types, specifically the more arachnid looking mons like Spinarak, Ariados, Galvantula, Dewpider, and Araquanid.

Despite being part Latias, she doesn't go too far off the ground, as she is afraid of heights, and more or less hovers a few inches off the ground while "flying", she will fly higher if she needs to be somewhere, or get away from someplace.

Her primary mode of transportation is her four legs, only using her wings if it's absolutely necessary.

For being an Umbreon, she's actually afraid of the dark-go figure.

Her base form used to be pink fur with light blue rings, and light blue eyes.

Now instead of light blue rings-minus the one on her tail, she has Ace hearts in place of rings, Latias wings, a rainbow infinity on her tail, and the lower portions of her front and back paws are light blue.

Her eyes can be darker shades and tints of blue, perhaps she can change eye colors too? She hasn't really explored that avenue yet.

I mentioned that Azura had two daughters, right, well her second daughter is adopted, Lola is biologically related. Azura's adopted daughter is named Scarlet Rose.

Leo, Azura, and Lola were taking a sunset stroll on Cyllage city beach when they noticed something red and blue lying on the shores. When they got closer, they noticed it was a sopping wet female Fenniken.

They took her home, nursed her back to health, and asked her if she'd like to be part of their family-which Scarlet gratefully accepted.

Scarlet has the odd ability to be immune to water, being the only Fenniken who can swim, and one that actually adores the water. She can also color shift, but prefers to be red and blue.

She used to speak with a country accent, but I couldn't keep it up.

Katie Ace Moon is a shape shifting dragon, her being an Ace dragon at the moment, she is best friends with Lola, Scarlet, and Ace Aries Umbreon, (Umbregamer) Ezzie Aspie Litten, and me.

Katie stays at the hotel with everyone else mentioned here.

She's one of the beings that comes from one of the other portals, no one knows which one though, but she's friendly, so no one has felt the need to ask her. 

Ace Aries Umbreon is Umbregamer, she likes to be in her room, TRYING to make videos for her Youtube channel with her Samsung phone and her Wii.

Her mascot is loosely based on Lola, but is different colors. (Same base by Paddedveepaws! I've been wondering if the mascot should just be Lola, but I haven't pulled the metaphorical trigger yet, and am not sure if I will or won't. Ezzie Aspie Litten is my Alolan starter, for both Sun, and Ultra Sun, she can change colors, but prefers to stay a Litten's usual colors.

Ezzie has a sister, but I can't remember her name/what she was like...

Moonshine is Lola, and Scarlet's grandmother, with Alabaster being Lola and Scarlet's grandfather.

I haven't figured out much for Moonshine, except that she's a very loving mother, and grandmother. Maybe helping Inari out in the kitchen? Has a mischievous side and pulls pranks with Sparx, and sometimes helps Mystery pilfer sweets when Inari isn't looking? Perhaps she's just as strong as, or stronger than Alabaster- though he's got pride and is loath to admit it- or he accepts it and laughs it off, not sure which.

Alabaster is kind of like the heroic, stoic one, not letting anyone but Moonshine, and other members of his family too close to him.

He's the self appointed guard of the Oasis, and is often seen patrolling the grounds. Alabaster should be retired, but he just can't stop himself.

He can appear as shiny, or non-shiny, just whatever mood strikes him/what the situation calls for.

Recently the family found a lost, young, female Eevee, no one know's where she came from, so she's just called Mystery.

She loves sweets, and is often pilfering them from Inari, heh, little scamp!

Perhaps when she gets older she'd join the pranking crew and pull harmless pranks on guests and family members.

They all either have mystery trainers, or have been caught by me, the lore fluctuates from time to time, with the main four (Lola, Scarlet, Azura, and Leo, as well as Ezzie) being caught by me, and are on my team, although I don't battle with them.

(I've always been more of a story and music kinda gal, not really bothering with competitive battling/just battling in general. That isn't to say they're weak, they do train with each other at times, some being stronger than others because they actually like battling- Sparx, and Alabaster being prime examples.)

I caught them so that no bad person could catch them, and I otherwise let them live as if they were wild, going wherever they pleased.

Their balls are Luxury balls, so that they're comfy when I do have to recall them-I adore Luxury balls!

Most of them live in the family only section of Lola's hotel, some of them going back to their mystery trainers when the day/night is done if I gave them one.

Perhaps they do all belong to me, having been traded to me from their original owners over the years, some occasionally coming back to visit their mons- thank goodness for OT labels!

(None of them are actual people, just unfinished OC's, only Napalm's is more fleshed out than the others. He could still work with the surgeon in a hospital part time, and then the rest of the time is spent in his aromatherapy shop in the hotel- him having plenty of free time in between and a more relaxed scedual- I don't want to make him overworked like people are IRL...)

I am annoyed. I have looked through all of my posts (all of them) and can’t find the post that is the origin of this character. It was an ask asking how to remove mold from my magic book becouse it was making my spell fungal. But I can’t find where that ask is. Maybe I never reblog we it and if I didn’t I regret it. If you find it please link it, (but that is unlikely to happen)
