This is my, uhhh, I guess, last entry for the @tmnt-ocxcanon-comp (Wedding). I wanted to continue the prompts, but work really got in the way, because, of course, it did. I may make the other prompts in the future once I get some of that work handled.

Now, for some real talk and musings under the cut, so if you're here for the art, can just enjoy~ Also thanks to @honeylief for helping me figure out the snoot kiss!

Donnie is in a traditional Japanese wedding yukata for men, while Astra is in more a American styled wedding dress, I wanted to mix their attire to match their ethnicities. (Even though Donnie is Japanese/American)

Astra originally also had star clips in her hair, but I forgot them, and maybe it's for the best, it came out okay!

This was my first competition, and admirably, I don't know if I'll be joining anymore or again next year due to how it was… kind of a mess.

I get that the runner was new to this, so mistakes were going to happen.

It was an okay experience overall, despite my own breakdowns from my depression and anxiety (Which I kept largely to myself, that's my baggage) I also have my criticisms, especially with how I was treated regarding concerns, and having them brushed off, only to have that exact topic to come up separately and blow up publicly. That made things hella awkward.

(I'm not upset Tomiko won, we all knew it was gonna happen, and they deserve it! I'm just upset with how it was gone about.)

I do think I met some kind people and left a good impression, but IDK if any of them would want to associate with me. Only time will tell, yeah?~

Maybe if some things are changed around, or idk I'm feeling confident, I'll enter again or go to another contest, for now, my emotions need time to recover, Avoidant personality disorder is a bit of a bitch when it comes to things like this. /lh

Their dynamic no matter what stage in their life is silly and teasing, sincerity hidden under many layers of masks, carefully crafted personas, and irony. Despite all that they’re fiercely supportive of one another, growing closer without ever losing that friendship.

Rise Leo. Dating.

A young girl, Ana, once a friend to the turtles, had feelings towards Leo. She showed him the care and acceptance he long needed, which, in the end, melted his heart. During the Kraang invasion, she was taken away and turned into Kraang zombie, after which was presumed dead. But 10 years later, she still had feelings for the blue turtle, and those feelings were strong enough to retain her consciousness and humanity, helping her to find Leo after all these years. Now reunited, Ana’s living in the resistance’s base, struggling with being half Kraang, and now being the one in need of care. But Leo is determined to do anything in his power not to lose his loved one ever again.

Can OC canon count if they’re kind of an oc I have a version of alopex but she was mutated from an OC and doesn’t really follow in the same footsteps as other versions of the character

Yes 100%! As long as you've changed enough about the character to make them your own, and it definitely sounds like you have!

We had a Mona Lisa compete this year and I might enter my Quarry next year. We're keeping the definitions of "Canon" and "OC" kinda stretchy cause they can be blurry and unclear.
