Violet: Some other time, perhaps? (Vomits purple fluids onto Anubis’s lap)

Anubis, visibly disgusted by the fact that Violet barfed on him: Perhaps, but at the moment I am searching for one of the Rising Volt Tacklers.

Anubis: Roy Alamilla, the current trainer of Captain Pikachu, who confered his loyalty to him after Professor Friede disappeared. Now, where do you suppose he could be?

Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto are lucky we haven’t met in person yet. I’m certain that they and their friends would be disappointed in me if they knew that I hope for their downfall on the daily. Normally I wouldn’t judge wanting to avenge yourself, but I feel that Seto won’t make for a good King of Games until he can handle having his thunder stolen from him, and I would have made an attempt at such a theft right now if I wasn’t otherwise engaged by SPD business in Paldea.

I didn’t really want her to, either; it’s enough that she’d crossed her fellow Gedoushu by eating the heads of their army men- the Nanashis, if memory serves on their name.

(Coral’s Glalie self destructs on Tobias and his Iron Treads at point blank range; they escape the explosion with little apparent damage.)

Tobias, grabbing Coral’s throat: What did you say?

Coral: Nothing, I, uh-

Tobias: If you ever self destruct your Glalie in my face or say that again, I will tear your soul apart with my Eternal Gauge magics and broadcast your screams for every other disrespectful WRETCH who dares to oppose me.

Violet: Whoa, hey!

Coral: Ack- Understood…

Tobias: Lovely.

(Tobias lets go of Coral.)

Out of all of my Neo Phantom Imperial allies, I worry for Violet Cort the most. I like to describe her as a witch of three colors: brown skin, black hair, and shades of purple on pretty much every other part of her person. Her mastery over hallucinogenic potions in times of war has benefited me, but she wears on me every time she tests them on herself. I don’t like that stoner look she puts on every time she concludes one of her experiments nor the fact that she tests her potions on herself to ensure that they work.

Back when I was hunting the Cures in the Americas, I thought the Explorers could be my friends. After what went down in Laqua, I know better now.

Battle Analysis:

Potentially useful on hand objects: Shaker full of Salt from my own Garganacl, my rather thick neck, leather gloves through which I channel my Eternal Gauge Magic, sprig of Spicy Herba Mystica, 6 Pokémon team consisting of the aforementioned Garganacl, a Skeledirge, a Dusknoir, an Iron Treads, a Brute Bonnet, and a Flareon

Explorers’ advantage: Superior influence over the general public in Paldea, superior numbers

My advantage: Superior magical power

Current course of action: Sidian and Coral are likely to regard my presence in their turf as a demand for satisfaction. I was told by my allied forces in Newtech City that Coral’s Glalie is self destructive, so I will take advantage of that weakness when the opportunity presents itself.
