I'm so torn between being excited for Mate in october but also I need more Misery & Lowe main character time. I'm not ready to move to another pairing yet, I need a second whole book of Misery x Lowe figuring out what their bond means long term and raising a kid that isn't theirs and navigating a whole new world and political landscape together

I finished it the same day and it was better than I expected! I had a hard time liking the characters and being interested in the flashbacks at the beginning, but it really grew on me. Ironic
