Sometimes I am the most talented and sexiest person alive. But that fact is totally dependent on everything going right all the time, so when I don’t get a head right on the first try no one look at me.

I’ve drawn a total of 17 completed faces now. This is my most recent one, I’d love to say that I can draw them on the first try but as you swipe through you can see that is most definitely not the case. I mean, my 3rd attempt looks like a botched version of Sydney Sweeney for some reason. I still don’t really know how that happened 🤷‍♀️

Here are some of the first heads of drawn on my own! I know a popular way to draw faces is using the Loomis head method, but as you can see I don’t understand how to use it despite watching several videos. However I don’t think it matters as long as I get the job done🤷‍♀️

I nose I still need practice but this came out pretty good for my first nose drawing!

EYE have been practicing (mehehe SEE what I did there?) watching @stanprokopenko videos on YouTube has been immensely helpful. I definitely need practice but the way mine came out reminds me of arcane so I’m really not mad about that, the art from that show is impeccable!

IT TOOK ALL MONTH BUT IN FINALLY DONE WITH THE THIS STILL LIFE!!!! I am so so so so SO proud of how it came out. I can’t believe it came out even half as well as it did. The absolutely stunning and dream like photo reference I used was taken by @tamaradean (instagram)

I’m officially learning about at the head in #radiorunnercurriculum ! 2 out of the 3 heads I did not draw, but I did paint those two on my own. The faces are from Proko’s “Painting Skin Tones” for anyone who wanted to know. I found it very helpful as someone with 0 experience in painting.

Just finished the composition iteration challenge from #radiorunnercurriculum and it was pretty fun for the most part. The only part that got a little tedious was the library image I came up with. But overall I think it came out pretty good!

Made this for a friend and I’m pretty impressed with the way it came out! This was a nice reminder that while my art skills aren’t where I would like them to be I’m still further along then I was a year ago. I wouldn’t have been able to make this a year ago!

I think this is the first real doodle I’ve made that isn’t based on anything. Exists simple because it was birthed from my mind lmao. Don’t ask me what type of bird this is btw, I have no idea if it was rooster or a turkey but I like this little fella!

For the last almost year now I’ve been slowly making my way through #radiorunnerscurriculum and recently finished the 50 clip art challenge. I actually had a lot of fun doing this challenge but I think it shows that I still have a lot of learning to do.

If anyone who is starting their art journey using this curriculum want to see how things have been going for me up until this point, I’ve posted some stuff about it on my blog. And if you are someone has used this to learn please tell me your thoughts on it!

This is the progress I’ve made, it going better then I thought it would but I would very much like to be done with this still life now 🙃

I also think I’m going to start posting my progress of doing Radiorunner’s guid for self taught artists here? We’ll see about that though.

Don’t ask me how I made the straw, I swear to god I blacked out and it was done. However,I don’t know what I’m doing in general though😂, I rely on the smudge feature because I don’t know how else to do this. Anywho, let’s appreciate the pot, garlic, and onion they are the real stars in this drawing.
