@tomadashifamily Secret Santa got me pumped so have a holiday headcanon dump:

Gingerbread house-decorating contest; GoGo’s competitive side makes an appearance and it mostly devolves into stealing candy from each other and a frosting fight

Tadashi is the person who starts playing Christmas music as soon as Halloween ends and GoGo is all “eND THIS NOW”

Christmas tree shopping. GoGo is all: we are going to get a giant-ass Christmas tree to top Fred’s. Tadashi falls in love with the first straggly one they find. “BUT GOGO. It’S THE HOLIDAYS. HAVE A HEARt. IT NEEDS A HOME”

decorating!! untangling the Christmas lights, dragging out the boxes of ornaments and going through them!! Tadashi finds an ornament that GoGo made when she was in kindergarten and another wreath-shaped one that has a picture of her in 2nd grade and will not stop teasing her. GoGo turns red but is secretly pleased when he slips them onto one of the branches

gift shopping! trying and failing to keep their gifts for each other secret but they both find out because Honey Lemon keeps updating her snapchat story as GoGo stands looking frustrated in the mall and Hiro not-so-subtly lets things slip … but despite that they pretend to be surprised on the day of the big reveal.

sharing a giant blanket, falling asleep on the couch after late night movie marathons. hot chocolate. GoGo sticking her cold feet in Tadashi’s lap to warm them up. Tadashi baking Christmas cookies and having to fend off GoGo and Hiro from stealing them from the tray as soon as they leave the oven. Hiro and GoGo buy Tadashi a god-awful Christmas sweater and snicker as they watch him wear it unironically while vacuuming the house. slipping and sliding across the Lucky Cat Cafe’s floors while wearing fuzzy socks; Aunt Cass looks on exasperatedly before closing down early and joining them.

imagine he just looks at her like that all the fucking time she’s working. like other people would get intimidated, but he knows her, he knows she’s just passionate about what she does and he loves it. and she appreciates that she doesn’t intimidate him, and he’s the one that holds her back or reproaches her if her words are too harsh

with him gone, she has to catch herself now. and there’s always that empty empty corner in the workshop

It was pouring outside.

From behind the counter Tadashi stared out the windows of the Lucky Cat Café, desperately hoping that the clouds would break within the next hour. He wasn’t looking forward to riding his moped in the rain. It was the first day of his first semester of college and sitting in class soaking wet wasn’t how he wanted to spend it.

He felt a shiver of excitement run up his spine, impatient to head off to SFIT despite the inclement weather. His first class on Mondays wasn’t until ten however, so he had promised his aunt he could work the café for her in the morning. Which wasn’t a big deal. He loved helping Aunt Cass, and the place was pretty tame when it was full of people whose morning coffee hasn’t kicked in yet.

That’s when he saw her.
