I've been making potions 🪄
By which I mean fermented drinks. I've been making kimchee for years, then I heard about ginger bugs. The first drink I made with one was dilute grapefruit juice mixed with it, it was tasty and had some life to it but wasn't really carbonated. Then I made tepache, which I've just finished, had zero fizz but tasted really nice and was maybe very slightly alcoholic. Then some mashed up peach with sugar water and some ancient baker's yeast from the fridge and oh boy that's ALIVE I have to burp it twice a day and it goes tssss. I tasted it, and it's okay. I'm excited to make more different things.
It's low key a little exposure therapy for me too because I'm a tiny bit like what if I poison myself? But I'm feeling fine about it. I would be fine 💪🏼 and tbh the risk feels Low

It's been 2.5 weeks since I had my week off and I've been back to gently cutting. Gentle because I've broken my toe and I'm basically where I want to be anyway. I'm just extending my peak abs period really. It's nice to be eating some chocolate, rice with dinner, drinking milk.
I'm back to just about my lowest before I started to ease out (65.5kg). My scales are still wacky. Last weigh in I took the third set of numbers it gave me. I just keep trying it until I get numbers I like lol.
Usually the last little bit is a real drag, but if I just keep going slowly like this it's actually gonna be totally fine. Assuming this keeps working. Tbh I could bare to get stricter again now anyway. But so far I'm really rating the [8 week cut - 10 days off - X week cut] method.

It was good actually. Took it easy. 3 sets of wall sits instead of squats (71s, 61s x2), machines, hanging leg raises, low weight back extensions. And 30 gentle minutes on the crosstrainer after as well.
Leg day with a broken toe sounds like a terrible idea but I'm doing it anyway

As I kid I used to beg my parents for a membership but I never had one. I'm gonna see if I can get back into it and then probably get one, about 20 years later. And I don't know anything about it, so any recommendations would be very welcome!
I started playing osrs tonight. I played the new version with my old character for ten minutes last night and meh, but holy shit old school is like exactly the same and it took me right back. The tutorial is so great. Shame to not be my original self but I'm excited to play it again

Today I logged on and killed some goblins and made five meat pies! I was big into cooking, but I've lost my chef's hat, so I'm going to go buy one in varrock so I can go back into the guild. My bf is playing again too, and we did the shield of arrav quest last night.
If you could recommend anything for someone returning after many years I'm feeling like a real noob, o barely remember anything 😅

To cut or not to cut? I'm gonna ask the fracture clinic when they contact me. Mixed answers online about whether a calorie deficit would impede recovery.
I definitely wouldn't go harsh again now anyway. Low end of maintenance is what I've been going for. Some carby snacks, carb cycling before the gym, some cheese and nuts with lunch. But lower cal versions of dinners.
I had a bit of a "fuck it, I don't want a deficit" moment yesterday afternoon and had some chocolate. No regrets, it was lovely.
Also I did push day at the gym yesterday with my broken toe and it was totally fine. I am taking more rest days this week, but I'm gonna train Saturday and Sunday 😁

ChatGPT reckons no hypertrophy, but I'll make strength gains. Idk if they'll transfer to squatting (that would be ideal) but just being able to wall sit for longer would be nice for when I can go back to class. Either way I'm hyped ✌🏼

I fucked my toe at MMA last night. Big left one. I was competing to kick as many times as I could in a minute with my right foot while balancing on my left. Couldn't let my right foot drop. I was wobbling and put my weight weird on my left big toe.
It went pop/crack and really hurt. It's swollen and bruised now. Idk if I broke it. It's actually less bad this morning than I thought it would be. But I've sacked leg day today. No way I could put weight on it 😔 I cycled home slowly last night though.
But I kicked 59 times and came 2nd in the class ✌🏼

I've worn those red shorts to death, they're so ripped in the crotch and stained with bike grease. I still wear them, but just at home for gardening and going to the supermarket or whatever. I do have another pair the same I bought in a charity shop I can still wear if I need to be smart
But I found the same shorts but in blue on vinted and they're a 28". It's nice to not have to wear them with a belt! And blue is a more convenient colour. God I love these primark stretch denim shorts

When I first bought these red stretch denim shorts they were a pride special, and I didn't wear them any other time. I was a big cargo shorts guy back then, like down to the knee, big pockets. The red shorts were on the small side for me too back then (30") so I kinda bulged a bit and they dug in. And they were tight on my arse and thighs which gave me dysphoria because it made them feel bigger. They were an aspirational purchase.
But now they're just my casual all the time shorts. They're still tight on my legs, but my legs are pretty lean now, and actual they're a little big on my waist. Feels like an achievement. Wish I had a before pic to compare but I basically never more them
