A sample of a foliage music visualizer I plan on developing further and using in "Into the Void." The plan is to have every part of the game react in some way to the music being played.
The assets seen here need more refining, and I will likely come up with an automatic foliage placement system in the future to make the positioning more believable and organic as well as adjusting the lighting effects on these plants to better illuminate the scenes they'll appear in

Waviate is a windows app that uses an evolution algorithm to generate sounds procedurally from user preferences and rules. Rather than designing sounds with knowledge of synthesizers and waveforms, Waviate creates them itself allowing sound designers to "discover" sounds. By creating new outlets for machines to assist in designing art, my hope is that artists can break new ground and develop richer and more complex ideas.

A demo video (1/4) of the Forox Fault line level in "Into the Void." This location is described as a tangled mess of rocks and dangerous wildlife and is mostly focused on exploration and teaching the player the basics of combat.

An introduction level developed for a demo version of Into the Void. The level features abstract visual design meant to unnerve and intrigue the player and uses voxel technology for prototyping dynamic and winding levels.
Visually, the level is still in a very early draft and needs to be less homogoneous with a large number of different plants, terrain styles, and creatures in the scene.
The main character is a race of alien beings that live in a dark region similar to the one seen here. For this reason, they have lights and glowing points on their body to help see in the dark.
At this stage in the game, no character abilities are available except jumping, crouching, memory recall, and rolling.

An early draft of the opening menu and music for a game I'm developing called Into The Void.
Into The Void is a single-player, action 3d platformer with bullet hell components. It takes place in an alien world unlike anything on earth complete with a fully developed mythos and a unique platforming premise involving bouncing and using an enemy's attacks against them.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 4, and currently I am the only person working on its development.

Club Solstice is a virtual music venue created originally for a graduation party and used as a venue for several virtual events since. The club features lighting components that react to music in real time creating a stunning visual cacophony of exciting colors and rhythms.
The world is designed to operate as a social dance with controls available to a host who creates a network-synced light show from the control deck seen in this video. The development of this world and several club mixes were a 5 week process done alone and play-tested with the help of 3 artists and 2 programmers.
I claim no right to the music used in this video. The music featured is "Amorphous" by Camellia

Jacko's Haunted Dance Floor is a virtual rave location I designed to be used as a Halloween Party location for a few internet communities. It features stunning light effects that react to any music you give it.
The development took 8 days and included mixing a 60 minute music set, 3d modeling the environment, programming functionality and networking features in unity, and user testing with a few artists and programmers I met in VRChat.
The music featured in this video is Naughty by Seulgi and Irene from SM Entertainment. I claim no rights to this song. All events happening here are non-commercial and recreational and access public Youtube links only.

This world is a new addition to the Virtual Party scene. I designed it as a fun space to camp out with friends and listen to music or watch videos. Much of the geometry in the world displays content from Youtube links and there are several features that visualize the audio being played as well.

A virtual rollerskating rink world where you can hang out with your friends! I originally designed the world for a 24 hour world creation challenge, and when it became one of my most popular hangout locations, I continued to update it from there. The environment features VR supported roller skating, realtime music visualizers for any youtube or soundcloud link, and several party games (including never have I ever, drawing challenges, and bowling). During the COVID pandemic, this location was a top hang out spot for several internet communities.
