Link laughed a little deviously at the Hero’s response. Ezlo glanced between the two before sighing, “Link, what in the goddess’s name are you telling people about me this time?”

The laughter stopped, responding with a small sheepish mumble of a child being scolded. Ezlo shook his head with a small ‘tsk,’ and turned back to the Hero in question, “Kids,” he scoffed. 

“I can’t take a nap without this one causing some sort of ruckus. Listen, I might not have bones to complain about, but I still feel an ache somewhere that can do without all this nonsense. You’d be wise not to listen to everything he says– er, you know what I mean.”

“Ah hah, yessir,” the knight confirmed, “Just was gettin’ to know the place and folks, ‘tis all...”

Now, it was one thing to talk to everyone in a village like standard procedures...it was another to not take everything they say to heart. But the lad was earnest until the hat bit.

The hero chuckled at that mental word fumble, “So ah, do you ‘ave any information about this mansion? Seems like you have been ‘ere for long too.”

Now, I’m not saying romantic relationships are inferior, or that they’re useless, or that you being in one or that you shipping some characters romantically is Bad or something off the walls like that. What I’m saying is that two people (or characters, since we’re talking shipping here) can be just as devoted to each other, love each other just as deeply, mean just as much to each other while being in a platonic relationship. The end point of caring about someone doesn’t have to be romance.

Friendship isn’t a stepping stone between strangers and romantic partners, it’s a different path. And you can follow that path as deep into the wood as a romantic one if you want, and neither is inferior to the other, they just have different views.

[ I saw a similar post going around for a specific fandom that’s blowing up right now, so here’s a version for ANY fandom to reblog! ]

There can be a nervous insecurity about seeing other people playing your same muse, whether you’re new to the fandom or been around awhile, and fear that you will be replaced by “a shiny new” version. That’s understandable. Fandom drama can be bypassed if we all appreciate each other’s version! ( Even if we don’t agree, we can still appreciate the variety ) SO: IF YOU ARE OPEN TO PLAYING WITH/AGAINST ANOTHER VERSION OF YOUR MUSE, PLEASE REBLOG!!! There’s many possible plots, doppelganger dramas,  AU’s, past, present & future storylines, shipping,  angst, comedy, etc., out there for this kinda thing, and I am so open to the possibilities with my muses~! 

BONUS: If you’re willing to rp with duplicates of other muses too. Everyone has a new spin on their muse, and playing against multiples of another popular muse can be fun! Again, that is what AU’s and multiverses are for!

The tip of the hat turned into a bird! This certainly startled the hero as he sharply leaned back by recoil.

“G-Goodness! I apologize for my mistake sir!”

He bows to the bird hat, assuming it was some sort of royalty by their tone and words, “I-I personally don’t know any magical hats that spoke sir! Maybe hats that enhanced one’s abilities but nothing of the sagely advice sir!”

Needless to say, a hat with a beak could certainly bite.
