I was rewatching Retsupurae's excellent Darkseed II commentary, and it hit me: Mike Dawson as a Disco Elysium protagonist. I just can't decide if all his facets should be just as pathetic as him or hate him as much as everyone else does.

I actually wrote a short thing about Human Domestication Guide. I'm actually rather turned off by the setting due to several things, primarily the cutsey language used to describe it. If I'm reading dubcon or noncon, I like the horror to be explicit. The character should be having a horrible time, and any care the dom gives should be nothing but a method to further break them. The other thing that turns me off is this trend in the fandom to claim the affini are good guys. Like, I hate our horrible capitalist world as much as the next person, but running headfirst into slavery and cultural genocide is not the answer. Anyway, I thought I'd post a link to my little fic.

This is exactly my experience for literal YEARS. I am lucky to have a father who can afford to support me this whole time, as I am also disabled (non-obviously). My only recommendation is for people to look into government jobs at usajobs.gov. It's the closest I've gotten to employment and they are REQUIRED to tell you whether or not you're still being considered. The benefits are quite nice, but the pay is rather low.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. The silence is deafening.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. Half of them require you to create an account on the company website. You leave a trail of ghost accounts that will be used once and never again. You never receive a response.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer offers an interview, but it's so rare for you to receive any response that you forget to check the website and you miss the time.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer offers an interview, but you don't know the magic words that signal to the esoteric mind of an interviewer that you're fit for the job.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer e-mails you saying that 'unfortunately, you do not have the qualifications we are looking for'. You check the job again and see you applied to be a menial labourer.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. Half of them require a car. No one stops to ask how you're supposed to afford one with no job.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer offers a job. The commute makes you want to die in your sleep.
You call the HR manager for the workplace in hopes of arranging an interview more directly. They don't even have an answering machine.
Employers complain that no one wants to work anymore.

Surprised no one here is talking about the Turkish knockoff of Goncharov, which was a sci-fi movie set on Mars, filmed in the Lybian desert. Decent casting, but very incomprehensible due to it’s fascination with Camus and low budget.

Please don’t say things like that. I know the struggle of being unemployed and feeling worthless. Suicide is not the answer.
There must surely be something more to life than being unemployed, gaming alone for most of the day while waiting for the off chance to game with the few friends that haven’t abandoned you. Nothing ever gets better, everything just gets worse, and I’m wondering frankly if it’s all worth it.

Panini should be playable
There's a part of me that always wanted a 3D Chowder collectathon game on the PS2 & Gamecube. Something familiar to Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom for example.

The Wacky World of Tex Avery ones are funny, coming from a fan of the show (which is me)! Hope there's more coming soon!
Many thanks. And you’ll indeed be seeing a lot of Tex on this blog very soon.
