Different from the original, the green edition features green painting on the faceplate instead of blue, with a heavier-duty toggle switch, and a green LED. The Spacerocket is a discrete silicon transistor fuzz. It has a simple layout with three controls: Tone and Level, plus a 3-way toggle switch to control Fuzz gain. On top sits a reverse-engraved, hand painted vinyl faceplate with backlit indicator. Instrument attack is reflected by an indicator located in the rocket's "flame." The Spacerocket emits otherworldly fuzz tones. The hottest Fuzz setting is a blistering compressed fuzz bomb, with layers of fuzz ringing through. Rush Pepbox AU$413.64 #pedals #rushamps #ecw82327791 #ecwid I would like to introduce you to the only authentic and authorised reissue of the legendary RUSH PEPBOX, one of the first wave of guitar effects pedals with the new "Fuzz" sound, designed and built in London in 1966 by the creator Pepe Rush, owner of the Registered Trademark "RUSH PEPBOX". The RUSH PEPBOX was used by a number of leading groups in the 60’s including The Beatles (who used one at Abbey Road during the recording of Revolver), The Shadows, The Animals, Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames, Zoot Moneyand others. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Pepe Rush himself.Built on a copy of the original printed circuit board using rare NOS (new old stock) germanium transistors, some of which are over 40 years old, to capture the unique original sound, and housed in a faithful recreation of the original wedge shaped welded steel enclosure with engraved panels, using a 9 v battery, we have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure that this reissue is as close to the originals as possible, and each unit is passed by the designer.We use metal film Resisters, special low noise screen out put cable, ACY21/ ACY41 Germanium Transistor’s, all manually engraved labels.Interview with Pepe RushThe “Rush Pepbox”By Pepe RushThe idea for the design of the “Rush Pepbox” came to me when I wasworking in my factory in Soho, London, building Bass and PublicAddress equipment for some of the biggest groups in the middle 60’s.
