This piece not only represents my headcanons for Aloy based on my observations in Horizon playthroughs, but also my tentative relationship with my self-concept of sexuality.

Full disclosure, I don't celebrate Pride Month. Previously, it was due to religious reasons, which, if you were around during the late 2010s, didn't exactly fare well for me when I shared what I thought were immovable, concrete beliefs on the subject.

Fast forward to the mid 2020s, two fandoms later, new friends, new career, new learnings, new connections, etc, and those supposed "immoveable, concrete beliefs" have since changed into something much more amorphous, more considerate and more compassionate. I say I don't celebrate it merely out of lack of spoons, taste, however you may call energy now: I spend enough of it observing Christmas, New Year's, Easter, All Saints' Day and many birthdays.

But that's just me. I know what Pride represents for many people so I'm not here to hark on it or to discourage folks from observing it themselves. I just wanted to be honest. This piece for me, marks something of a declaration. That over the past few years, I've opened myself up to fully sharing that joy and happiness with those who experience it, whether it's a new relationship, a new identity, or even freedom from oppressive situations--all under zero pretenses; as well as being willing to defend my fellow human beings from discrimination and harmful ideologies and behaviors.

It's been a long road from where I once was on the topic of pride and queer identity. Pride, as defined as "overconfidence in oneself, lack of humility, etc." is still significant for me, but I also am aware that this month is not about that. It's about cherishing all human beings, regardless of sexuality, race, identity, etc. It's a response against tyranny, against that desire for domination and control.

After all, everyone is made in the image of God. We are all precious in His sight and we are all meant to live in harmony and peace with one another.

I do not know everything, I might not get everything right—after all, I am only human— but that does not stop me from trying anyway.

A very messy grayscale Kotallo piece I've been working on for a bit, I decided not to focus so much on the little details (I'm too much of a perfectionist) and just go with the flow.

I've noticed that Horizon Forbidden West has a more active fandom here than in other platforms I've seen!! Which really makes me happy since this is my current special interest, mostly because of him. I love Kotallo 🙏🏻😔

I love how all of us saw that video Norshir did with Hercules, and we all gave him a makeover from sly rich guy to cowboy. I kept mine still ominous simply because I don't buy the innocent shtick, but i had to throw him in a Stetson and light up a smoke as everything blares emergency 😅

Name(s): Entekkeh, Atenttoh, and Senalla

Gender(s): Entekkeh is male, Atenttoh is trans male (he/him), and Senalla is female

Age: at the time of Singularity, Atenttoh is roughly 25, Entekkeh is about 27, and Senalla (deceased) would've been about 25 as well

Tribe(s): All three start as Sky Clan, but Atenttoh becomes a Marshal and Senalla defects and joins the rebels.

These three grew up together in Stones Crest as a Squad. Thick as thieves, they were able to assist in holding back the Desert Clan raids when they were in their early teens. Gaining favor from Chaplin Gerrah, they were dispatched to move to the Bulwark. There, Boar Squad met Ram Squad and ultimately met koatllo as well. The two squads, while remaining seperate, fought well together, often joining forces.

They were the ones to intercept an envoy from the Lowland Clan, informing Chief Hekarro's victory and his desire to unify the clans. Senalla, the violent one, has to be restrained, but the group of friends don't believe the informant and tell them to leave or bleed out in the snow. Shortly after, Kotallo is pulled into Tekotteh's inner circle and tensions rise in Boar Squad as Atenttoh comes to term with being trans. Senalla scoffs, acknowledging her friends truth, but overall doesn't support, leaving Entekkeh as Atenttoh's comfort. It's awkward at first, with a bit of fumbling as these two have recently started dating, but Entekkeh wholly supports his partner.

Atenttoh manages to get a fire of top surgery, but due to that procedure being a rare practice, is left with large scars. He's annoyed for the first bite, his movements restricted as he seals, but Entekkeh helps him out. Later, Tekotteh (using a personal headcanon) sends his posse after Atenttoh to belittle him, going so far as to eventually send Kotallo to beat some sense into him. It doesn't go as planned, the two reconnecting and hanging out.

Atenttoh joins in the push to Barren Light along with Senalla and Entekkeh, the trio carving a path for Kotallo to storm the fort; with Atenttoh hoisting him up for the initial scale. After Kotallo is sent to the Kulrut, Tekotteh's efforts double down. However, unfortunately for him, Atenttoh has a backbone and whoops his moon's butt's in the pit before ultimately being challenged by the Commander himself. That fight, he loses, bloodied and bruised as he spits out a mouthful of blood. The defeat only fuels his determination, bowing to not let that happen again. He and his squadmates train together, boistering each other's morale and stretching their bond and skills.

Atenttoh grows tired of Tekotteh's harassment though, and after a long talk, he leaves for the Kulrut himself, promising to visit as often as he can. His boyfriend and fellow squadmate go to support, their cries the loudest when he succeeds and joins the Marshal's rank. His initial reaction to Fashav is tense at best, the wounds still fresh from the Carja, but after time, he comes to like the fool. Regalla, though, doesn't, and that anger bleeds into how she treats Atenttoh.

When she challenges Hekarro and is granted a mercy, Atenttoh is livid. Like the scab he is at times, he confronts Hekarro (thankfully privately) and gets a lecture. He returns to his team with his head bowed, thoroughly humbled from the conversation, taking Hekarros words to heart. On a visit to the Bulwark, her learns of Senalla joining the rebels, his blood running cold when Entekkeh informs him. He is, unfortunately, the one who ends her life, her time coming at age 23.

The way he survives the Embassy is that he wasn't there to begin with, having antagonize Tekotteh into the pit so Kotallo could sneak Ram Squad away. He learns of it as he's leaving the Bulwark, word spreading fast within the three days of the lone survivor. Rushing to the Grove, he meets with Hekarro, receiving confirmation that the Marshals had all but been wiped out.

I'llend that here, cause I've typed a lot, but Atenttoh does meet the GAIA Gang and tells Entekkeh about them. The two often visit Senalla's grave they made to honor her, sharing their life with their friend, and are preparing for NEMESIS. I've yet to draw Senalla yet, but i do have my boys drawn up. 🥰

...well, mostly, anyway. They still need their paint and ink lol

like i'm sorry but we as a fandom have to stay firm on our anti-AI values. we cannot suddenly start giving AI a pass when it's something we "want to see" like destiel kisses. it's not suddenly fine. we're not going to start using AI to make fanfic scenes come to life or audio AI to make characters "say" stuff we want to hear. you have GOT to be firm on your anti-AI stance. if you start making exceptions then suddenly anything will fly. fandom is for real art and creations made by real people. no AI fanfics. no AI art. no AI rendered "bonus" scenes. no AI audio. none of it has a place here.
