[1:03 pm] “What’s up babe, I thought you were working?” You said when you answered Mark’s video call.

“We need to break up.” He said, letting out a sigh.

“Okay if you say so.” You said and continued to eat your lunch.

“What do you mean ‘if you say so’?! I’m breaking up with you right now!” He exclaimed, suddenly very confused by your reaction.

“It’s like the third time this week you’ve called me like this, how many breakup songs are you writing this week?” You asked casually.

“This is the last one, but I need to feel the heartbreak! Cooperate with me!” He whined, head now laying on the table and a pout on his face.

“All right, but remember we’re going to dinner at your parents later, so don’t be too late,” you said before putting on a serious expression: “Mark Lee, I’m breaking up with you, bye.”

The video call ended with Mark’s surprised face and it didn’t take long before a text arrived from him:

‘were you serious?! Are we done?’

You sighed and shook your head before answering him:

‘you idiot, I love you! Now finish those lyrics so we can get back together❤️’
