some encouraging words for small fandoms

i know it can be hard. i know it can be lonely. sometimes there are bad days where everything feels like it was done for nothing.

but there are more good days than bad.

think about the connections you have with this piece of media, and the small group of people who share that love you have.

numbers and golden trophies don’t mean anything when you’re having fun.

so get on out there and create. keep the legacy of your underrated hyperfixation alive.

a good chunk of people like us have been screwed over and threw under the bus time and time again by conglomerates who deem our favorite media unworthy. and for some of us, there were unfortunate external circumstances/controversies that overshadowed them.

but those don’t define them.

box office numbers. RT percentages. controversies. they don’t matter.

because all that matters is that we connected with that piece of media and it drove a small dedicated crowd of lovely people to create.

and through these small groups of people, i have met some very resilient, diligent, and strong individuals who continue to create for lesser-known media and keeping them alive.

so keep on creating.

My Top Cat annual.

Hi guys. Here are some pictures of the Top Cat annual I mentioned the other day. It’s got a few marks in it but it’s in pretty great condition over all. It contains a couple of little short comic stories including some featuring other Hanna- Babera characters such as Yakky Doodle, touché turtle and Dum Dum and Snagglepuss.

A few weeks ago I bought an old Top Cat annual from an antiques store near me. Would you guys like me to post of few pics from it? I have left it at my Dad’s so I will have to wait till I’m next at his to post.

In my opinion the original Top Cat series is much better than the 2011 movie. Whilst I did enjoy it a little I didn’t think it was quite as entertaining as the original. Which do you guys prefer?
