The big showcase was a big deal and Tori had only just found out that she was performing in it yesterday. A promise to her favorite teacher (after having been pulled aside after class so he could tell her the big news) that she would keep the whole thing a secret, which was an obvious fail: somehow Beck found out. A part of her was relieved that he found out. She wanted to tell someone but the announcement for the big showcase hadn't even been made yet. Though, everyone knew it was coming.

"Thank you?" She didn't mean for it to sound like a question but confusion stretched across her features, a brow shot up as hands pressed sternly against her hips. "How did you even find out?" She had her suspicions, a number of teachers would blab that she was the headliner, Sikowitz being on the top of her list. "We're performing together." She admitted, it's become a trend. The first big showcase that Tori ever did was before she even a student, she had replaced her sister who was originally supposed to sing but had an allergic reaction to the Chinese herb gargle. And now, they've just accepted the fact that it was tradition. However, what Tori wasn't saying is that Andre is also planning a solo performance. But Beck would soon find that out, if Tori was terrible at keeping secrets, Andre's worse.

"You are not very good at lying." Something he appreciated about her if he was being honest. He couldnt help but smile, a boyish one at that. "Rumor has it, Youj're the next showcase headliner." He overheard a few of the teachers that morning talking about it. "Congratulations!" He was proud of her and without thinking, he draped an arm around her and pulled her in for a hug. He was proud of her and wanted her to feel that. "I think Andre is going to be in it too!"

A nervous laugh reverberated from the back of her throat, she didn't have any idea. But she wasn't about to go shout that to the world. "Of course I do!" The words coming out as a bit more aggressive than she had planned for them to.

An exasperated cry escaped her lips as she wriggled her body in frustration. "Noooo, I don't." She pouted. "Tell me?"
